The selection is fantastic! Books, Crystals, Beads, Jewelry & so much more. What a lovely store. Their prices are on point especially with their rewards. Service was helpful as well. Moving forward MM will be a frequent shopping place for me.

8/28/21: (Rewards Member): I love this place and you'll want to join the rewards club. Mama's Minerals is located across the street from Hotel Chaco and Sawmill Market, near Old Town and easy access to/from I-25 or I-40. Only tricky thing is parking because of the 2 businesses all utilizing the same parking lot.I'm usually here to purchase crystal healing items. But what can you find here other than happiness and a great customer service experience? Mama's has an extensive jewelry collection, beads and beading supplies, rocks, minerals, fossils and crystal gemstones.Walk in and spend time perusing their extensive collections. I liked the old location better but the new location is still very large. For me it can be a hit or miss in terms of them having a fossil I'd want. I just need to be at the right place at the right time for just the right pieces. But they have a huge inventory, a real plus.

There are many places to purchase materials for beading and jewelry making. Do yourself a huge favor and start at the best. Excellent service and authentic product (not made in China). Buying the real thing might be slightly more expensive, but the end result is so much better. You will be so glad you stopped by.

Make sure you have time to browse and wander! Lots of inspiration and interesting stuff while shopping. Now time to make the bracelet with the beads and stones I purchased.

I got a super cute pendant for my sister in law and she loves it. Ordered online and was able to pick it up the next day.

Without fail, we come here every ABQ trip. Even though its mostly the same products they offer, its always cool to see all these various formations, shiny or dull. I always love seeing the new, large displays that sell for over $4,000 typically. One day, my husband will go bankrupt for one of these magnificent fish fossils.Very clean and professional looking store. Rocks organized by rock types, some on glass displayes and some piped up in baskets. They have a lil nook in the store for all their himalayan lamps that are always really cool to sit and look at. If youre looking for rock tools, they got a great assortment too. If you need books, theres a whole selection they offer. Theres even a lil kiddie area to play in so you can go about the store while they play. It never disappoints to just walk into the store and look at their beautiful rock or fossil diaplays. Theres always something new and different from what you would find in most rock stores. The only problem is how some items tend to be overpriced so we typically never really buy anything. But luckily, if we do feel impulsive, military discount!

Knowing nothing abut minerals but wanting to select something for a family member. The sales clerk was helpful. The options plentiful. Can't really speak to the prices, but they appeared reasonable. The selection is incredible.

Amazing amount of everything gem and mineral related. We spent an hour getting lost in it all. My niece selected an intact geode and the staff kindly sawed it open for her while we watched through the ship window. We knocked out a ton of stay home prizes for friends who are watching our pets this week. Highly knowledgeable staff answered all of our queries and the prices are truly great.

My wife loves the convenience and the value of one stop shopping. She loves handling of the various minerals. Instead of purchasing piecemeal she loves leaving with what she was looking for. Frustration is a poison that can be cured only when something beautiful is made by one's hands.Thank you for making my wife happy.
