Great soccer field right by the foothills

This grassy park in the shadows of the East Mountains is where the AYSO soccer league hosts games for the early teen age group. Hence, I had the pleasure of experiencing the place that's way too far off my beaten path to have ended up here otherwise. It's a modestly sized neighborhood park that might be the pride of the community, with minimal bald patches in the thick, manicured grass; no piles of poop spotted, drying in the high-desert sun; shady trees turning gorgeously colorful in the autumn; tennis court and playground, which I dare say likely features no discarded hypodermics even.I think this park was well planned to accommodate the leisure needs of all your family members -- kite-flying, dog-walking, grass-jogging, monkey-barring, and tennis. Exceptions: I only saw a couple picnic tables, and no restroom facilities.
