4th floor nurses station also needs a lot more training, apparently, in patient care. Nurses, such as Molly, Jaida, "Muskateer" and and few others are GREAT. Doctors, when they actually talk to you and let you know what's going, are the excellent ones!

This hospital went above and beyond for our baby. The whole visit I was completely confident in the staff.We had a unique situation that required the utmost care. If we were at a different hospital I know the outcome would of been way different. Doctor Sims is basically straite out of of greys anatomy a Super hero in my book. Thanks to all the staff.

How about a former employee perspective? I worked there for 2 years in the medical/surgical unit and have been gone an equal amount of time. It was circling the drain then and unbelievably has gotten worse. Yes, this is a for profit hospital, and it shows. They have forced out most of the experienced staff and replaced them with lower paid, inexperienced nurses. Charge nurses are equally inexperienced some still learning how to be a nurse. Other times there are traveling nurses given that responsibility. High patient to nurse ratio 7 patients to 1 nurse (now you know why your call light went unanswered) suffice it to say that my co-workers knew that it I went down they were to dial 911 and have me taken somewhere else. My best advice? Avoid this place at all costs!

Had a family member come in for surgery. That part of the stay was good and the staff were very professional. When we moved to the floor it seemed that they didn't know we were coming. The room was unprepared and the nurse was not available for report. We had to ask for things for the room that should have been standard in the room. We were so concerned that we arranged the family to stay because we were not sure they would take care of our loved one properly.

If I could give less than one star I would. I have been sitting sleeping in the ER for over 24 hours. Zero communication... actually if I was dead it would take someone to ring the damn bell to see if I was ok... I would already be decomposing. Absolutely a nightmare stay.

I had a hysterectomy w robotic surgery at Lovelace Hospital. 95% of the nurses and support staff are wonderful, The surgery went very well and I'm not feeling much pain at all. My doctor/surgeon took very good care of me. Seems there's always one bad apple in the bunch, and that one person "took care" of me by handling me roughly. They scratched my inner left arm and injured my shoulder. I don't know who did it to me, as I was under the influence of anesthesia. When I woke up after surgery, I was feeling pain across my shoulders and I just figured it was the nerve pain that goes along with surgery. It wasn't til I got home and my husband saw the big scratches. Explains why my right shoulder is now hurting as much and almost more than the hysterectomy. So for the bad apple, I take a star from my rating, which otherwise was a good experience with a successful major surgery.

I had my beautiful baby girl here 6 months ago! Ann, NP was amazing and I really felt a bond with her. I appreciate the comfort she provided during my entire labor. Would highly recommend.

Another waste of time. This ER is trash if you're in real distress. Go to Pres or UNMH, this place can't and won't help you. If I could give negative stars I would. This is my THIRD horrible experience there. They're trash with their system operational and epic trash without it. STAY AWAY!!

Came in on thanksgiving due to the unfortunate timing of being pregnant and super sick with a stomach bug on a holiday. Was surprised at how quick it was, got good thorough care and the nurses/NPs and ultrasound person were all kind and efficient. Would come back.

Garbage facility. Garbage staff. Stay away. Doesn't deserve one star. Nurses lie in your chart and say they check on you. They don't. No doctors, just NP's and the bottom of the barrel that will take the crappy pay that is being given to medical professionals in this state. Misdiagnosis is the norm. Morons work here.
