Lovelace Medical Group

I have been there several times to see a nurse practitioner, I've seen two different ones. I was happy with both of them but they both left the practice. My prescriptions were cancelled in early August even though I had refills on them. They claimed I hadn't been there in over a year. Totally false, I was there the end of January. No one was interested in returning my call either. I recommend getting your health care needs taken care of somewhere else. You do have to wonder why their medical personnel keep leaving. My rating that I'm leaving is not a reflection of the care I received from the nurse practitioners, it's due to the way I was treated with the cancellation of my medication.

Having had really bad experiences overall with OPTUM, and a great experience with Lovelace ER, decided to try Lovelace for primary care. Very new clinic and the doc was awesome. It's a bit out of my way but she is worth the drive. Doc is Dr Rios who is an MD which at this point in my life I prefer. Very good bedside manner and more of the take the time needed not rush through like at OPTUM. Staff also was excellent. Glad to have a competent primary.

Very long wait time to see a doctor. Called in July and can't get an appointment until 30 Nov.
