Lounge 54

Again more unfriendly managers, like Joseph, loom like government gatekeepers. Harry, the bartender, didn't greet us immediately but wow, he can make some fantastic drinks. We had to extract information from the micromanager, like what the specials were for the night. It's reasonably nice and there are a lot of TVs. There can be a lot of smoke at the bar, so be prepared. There is a jukebox so music is at the choice of anyone with a few bucks. The Council Room at Sandia is better. But Joe and Harry are very good bartenders, ask for them by name. Also ask for a Tennessee Sour, Eagle Margarita, and the Vesper martini. All are quite good.

As far as casino bars go, this one is pretty okay. I like it because it doesn't feel like I'm in a bar. You are able to have the almost drinking in the casino vibe here. Which is not possible to do in the casino's in New Mexico. It is VERY illegal, so I appreciate this vibe.It's neat that they have live music every Friday night at 9 pm. Service and drinks were pretty good. I would opt to go to this bar rather than the casino. I always do better at the bar than I do in the casino.

The lounge has a band every Friday and Saturday. Free entertainment and the drinks are priced reasonable.

Santa Ana Star Casino Hotel all your bartenders are rude they all look like they hate their job and never smile. 66 is the best everybody is friendly they are always great with you and have a smile I'm in Rio Rancho every weekend I stay just mins away from Santa Ana but would rather drive to 66 . I used to meet a large group at loung 54 every Saturday, we all agree that almost every Bartender at Santa Ana lounge 54 should seek other employment perhaps MVD. I will never go back until there is some new Managment in the food and beverage debt.

No waiters, no management available to speak to if you have an issue. Bartender was out right rude.

Service was slow and rude, we were told we could not have more drinks after three drinks....we get a room to drink and have fun in a safe and responsible manner, if we can't do that then needless to say we will NOT be returning to Santa Ana Hotel & Casino, and recommend that you don't either...very disappointed in their service tonight!
