We were traveling through Albuquerque and stumbled upon this hidden gem. Don't let the location or the modest exterior fool you--this restaurant is absolutely fantastic! We started with the chips and salsa, and the salsa was incredible--fresh, flavorful, and clearly homemade. A perfect start to the meal. For dinner, we ordered the Flautas Ahogadas and Birria Tacos, and both dishes were delicious! The flautas were perfectly crispy, and the birria tacos were tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Every bite tasted like authentic, homemade Mexican comfort food.We also tried the Michelada Mango, and wow--it was amazing! It did take a little time to prepare, but we were told upfront it's made fresh from scratch, and it was 100% worth the wait. If you're a fan of micheladas, this is a must-try!The service was top-notch. Our server, Evi (whom we nicknamed "Karol G" because of the resemblance), was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Her warm and welcoming personality added to the great experience. On top of all that, the prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality of food and service you get. I highly recommend this spot for anyone craving authentic, scratch-made Mexican food. This place is a true gem, and we'll definitely be back whenever we're in Albuquerque!

My daughter found it on Instagram, said she wanted to try it. When I saw the parking lot I was a little apprehensive (I'm in a wheelchair) but once I turned to the door, it was great. They had a ramp and inside the tables were tall enough for my chair to fit.Evi the waitress was great, she answered all the questions we tossed at her. The food was amazing, me being on a keto diet, most restaurants don't have much of a choice. They do. The food was great and I got a plate called augachillis, it was spicy but I gobbled it down, (I like spicy).I thought it was going to be expensive but it wasn't overly priced like some places.I will definitely be going back.

Great homey Mexican food. Menudo was great, the soup was yummy and they gave a lot of tripe. Tacos were good, very crispy. Wished the meat was a bit more tender and more flavorful. Consume was hecka oily and wished it was a bit more flavorful. Parking was a little funky, not super clear on which spots are designated parking for the restaurant.

Great pizza! Meat lover pizza was not overly greasy. Crust was excellent! Great Mew York style. Place is small but good parking. Staff were very nice. Kitchen was a little slow considering we were only ones there but server apologized for the delay. Person beer was ice cold and delicious. Recommend and will go again!

The menudo is incredibly delicious here. Every ingredient is cooked perfectly and the flavor is what you would expect from Mexican home cooking, just like abuela used to make. It's served with buttered bread that you can dip into the soup, and there are side toppings like lime , onions, Chilli, and cilantro that you can choose to add if you wish. The queso birria tacos are good too but definitely second best to the menudo. The menudo is a must try. Also, pro tip, the size small plus the bread alone is enough to fill you up, I had to stuff myself to eat the rest. The servers are friendly; they speak both Spanish and English, and the ambiance gives very much like small mom pop Mexican restaurant. They usually play some lively music in one of the rooms and there's another one quieter room if you want to talk to the person you game with.

This place has carnitas that could put even a good BBQ restaurant to shame!I got the carnitas tacos, and they were masterclass! The carnitas was perfectly cooked, tender, and was far from bland. Not to mention, these are 100% authentic tacos with onion, cilantro, and a salsa verde!I came back Los Olivos and had their chicken enchiladas. So far, this is the only chicken enchilada I have had at a sit down restaurant in New Mexico that didn't have dry chicken! A saving grace! In fact, it was cooked perfectly and quite juicy! The red chile on that enchilada was a bit sweet. I wasn't expecting that, but it was still quite good and complemented the chicken quite well. And of course, I had to come back for round 3 to get some quesabirria tacos. They nailed it again! In one word, I'd describe them as balanced. They were spicy, both in heat and in flavor, but not overwhelmingly so. The broth had just the right amount of salt, and if there is one thing I love about those tacos, it's the strong notes of onion present. The chips were also fresh and crispy as (censored)! Their salsa is also fantastic, as it also has strong notes of onion.Well done Los Olivos! I have been back multiple times now and you are still my standard for what a good Mexican Restaurant should be. 10/10!

Ah another hole-in-the-wall. My favorite type of Mexican restaurant. Located in a repurposed house it's small, minimal tables but there's a patio area. Grab a menu and decide our breakfast. Order at the counter and wait for delivery of our menudos. While we wait we bought a package of Gorditas de Leche. They were not overly sweet, definitely good. The menudo arrived in huge bowls accompanied by toasted bread. I keep forgetting that most places we've been to serve bread instead of tortillas. The Menudo was excellent, good mix of meat to broth and best of all - not a lot of grease. Definitely a great stop this morning. My only issue was it was a little hard to navigate parking. It's not well defined as a parking area. We parked on the street and went thru a gate.

This place is a delicious little hidden gem!! There's a difference between New Mexican cuisine and Mexican cuisine. Not in a bad way by any means, but their spices and preparation are different. This place is as authentic Mexican cuisine as you can get. I had green chile chicken enchiladas and boy are they amazing. They are rolled, stuffed with chicken and cheese, and topped with a delicious green jalapeños and tomatillo sauce, queso cotija, and onions. The refritos are creamy and the rice is perfect!! The service was quick and friendly, but it looks like they may get busy during lunch. The cute little restaurant also has a covered patio that seems to be the favorite place to sit. Oh and how can I forget! They also serve fresh warm chips and homemade red salsa.

Been passing by this place for years and finally dropped in. I had both barbacoa and carne asada tacos and asked that tortillas be crisped a little. Both were great. Green and red salsa for tacos were good. Glad I stopped by.

On the corner of Zuni and Pennsylvania, there is no signage other than a small "abierto" sign. Although in a slightly sketchy area, the restaurant is totally pristine with a small parking lot or street parking available. Lots of locals which is a major tell on how good this place is.The inside area was full of people, so we were offered the patio. Fully enclosed w/space heaters - was perfect. We ordered chilaquiles with both green & red chile with eggs over easy (less than $12). Service was excellent and food came out fairly quickly. Seemed almost everyone on the patio was ordering chilaquiles! Food was perfect, green chile fairly spicy on the tongue, but sooo tasty. Red sauce also good, but if we go again - will go verde all the way.Bathrooms were spotless as well. Highly recommend this place! Se
