It doesn't matter what I say or stars I give because this is it in town. But the service was very pleasant and she was not talkative and allowed us to eat in peace. Son got the green chili with a tortilla and he ate it all. I ordered the basic salad and had no complaints. Only later did I mention to him the chili was pork but he said it was filled with flavor. You get plenty of food and it is a quaint spot. So if you are driving around northeastern NM maybe heading to Mosquero or just seeing the sites (this area has it's own beauty)- travelers this is a good place to stop. Easy street parking right on the main drag.

A great place to stop if you are driving through town. My favorite items on the menu include onion rings and a milk shake. No calorie counting here!New Mexico is a very popular place for movies to be filmed. The Village of Roy was recently the host of "Did You Hear About the Morgans?" with Sarah Jessica Parker and Hugh Grant. There is a great scene in the movie where Sarah & Hugh go into town to have steak one night--this was filmed right inside Annette's Cafe! All the people you see in that scene are also locals.

Great food, who would have know this little village of Roy has some great food and very friendly folks. We have eaten there many times when traveling from Fort Worth TX. Stop in there and ask direction if you need them. My husband favorite is the open face hamburger with christmas chili peppers. I alway get the chicken sandwich.

Great place. Make sure to try the green hatch chili breakfast burrito made by Annette. 25th out of 5000 in New Mexico contest and should have done better. Homeade fries were great, too.

Hello :)We are a young family seeking to keep the cafe doors here in Roy NM open by requesting donations here: http://www.gofundme.com/cafeheroOur small towns cafe, and part of the B3, will be closing. We learned the owners need to sell, after raising rent is not feasible in a town of maybe 300. Our family is going to do all we can to make sure we save Annette's Cafe. The real importance of this is to keep the economy in our town. After we save Annette's Cafe, our next plight will be attracting travelers and we'd love to return our gratitude by promoting heavily the Breakfast Burrito Byway, those that could help, and always- an honest Thank You!! :)

Stopped by Annette's on the way home from Denver. The red chile cheese fries are a must. Authentic New Mexican red. Not Tex-Mex fakery.
