Longbow Diner

My wife and I had dinner at the Longbow tonight. We ate here after the restaurant change names a few months ago and decided to give it another chance. We live close by and want to support local business. However both times we went left a lot to be desired. My wife ordered chicken fried steak which was actually pretty good. The portions were great and the flavor was excellent. I ordered a hamburger with green chili and received a hamburger with a burnt Bun and no chili. Our server was nonexistent as were refills and any follow up after the food was left at the table. I wish the restaurant every success but will not give it another chance.

It's okay_ish.. I see the cooks play with their dirty phones while they are cooking, like other patron's have mentioned they do not wear gloves, I don't know what to say except we have nothing in Rio Communities, it's so sad.. Usually only have one or two servers, you might see them a second time after you get your order but that's only seeing them walk past you..rarely a "how's everything"?.

Kitchen staff does not wear gloves or hair nets. Lots of food cooked in microwave. Seems like a country kitchen but is very cliche

Delicious dinner eats! Friendly staff. I have picked up to go orders a few evenings after work here and they were just awesome!

Best diner in Rio Communities. Great food, great service. Best server, Katie. We got for the fish and chips. If you like, you may get sweet potato fries. Salads are good and so are the Reuben sandwiches. Try the strawberry cobbler, tastes yummy. Everything is homemade.

This restaurant in owned and operated by a Vet. My youngest brother, Sean, and I have eaten here several times. We live within walking distance. And it is the best restaurant in Rio Communities. Our Coke and Big Orange drinks were bottomless and green-chill-cheese-burger was fantastic with either sweet potato fries or steak fries. " I'll be back. "

We just moved to Rio Communities and have enjoyed eating at the Longbow diner for the last 6 months, probably every week. We just had the most uncomfortable dining experience we have had anywhere, in a long time. Both waitresses were clueless when we ordered our meals which were breakfast. We could barely understand the pierced up waitress and she appeared clueless when we ordered a glass of milk. My husband ordered hash and eggs and after about 10 minutes she came back to tell us they were out of hash. My husband then ordered a breakfast sandwich and the waitress came back to ask how he wanted the eggs. He replied "fried hard" and her response was, " you mean boiled and cut up?" He told her, " let the chef know I just want a fried egg". She told the chef who also seemed clueless and then started cussing about "the fucking eggs". It was so uncomfortable. When we went to leave, the cook stood in the doorway and basically "Mad dogged" my husband and stared us down when we got in our car. It was very creepy and uncomfortable. I have had some pretty good meals at Longbow. Most of them have been take out, so I can't speak so much in w the service. The times I've eaten there the service has been perfectly fine. My most recent visit I got the breakfast enchiladas. They were quite tasty. Overall, I've enjoyed my experiences and good from there. I will continue to go back when I'm in the area.

This place is pretty good for Belen and the prices are fair. Steak and eggs for under $15 can't beat that.

Unfortunately our experience was not good. The restaurant was almost empty but it took over a half hour to get our food. The burgers had the texture and look of frozen Walmart patties. The chili was more of a soup than a chili. The only things that were palatable were the onion rings and French fries. If I could give it less than a star I would. I wish them luck but will not return.
