Arrived at 7 PM to the location in Old Town, only to discover the main dining area was already closed. On a weekday. At dinner time. Instead, guests were crammed into a small section of booths. Our party of five wasn't unreasonable, but apparently too much for this setup, so we were split across two tables.I've been to Little Anita's many times before and have always enjoyed the food and service. This visit, however, was a disappointment. The food arrived cold, and our server seemed to struggle with basic follow-through--we had to repeatedly ask for items that were missing. And then there was the sopapilla debacle. Because of the slow service, they were packed to-go with the promise of honey and butter, but imagine our surprise when we got home and found... packets of mustard. Yes, mustard. A truly bold and unexpected flavor pairing. A minor thing to some, but IYKYK!! Little Anita's, I'd love to think this was just an off night, but experiences like this make it hard to justify a return. Plz Do better.

Little Anita's is always a great spot! This is because they are consistent with their service, food and vibe! I prefer this location, because it is near old town.

The family brought us to Little Anita's on our visit to Old Town. I walked in having zero idea of what to expect, and walked out full and happy!First of all, Aurora was a superstar server. She was pleasant, efficient, and just all-around lovely. Thank you for the great service. We started with the special: hibiscus margaritas (and a hibiscus sprite for the one guest not imbibing). They were pretty, and tasty, although a little sweeter than I personally love. Definitely get it since it's a limited menu item, but if I had a second cocktail, it would have been a regular margarita.Chips were fresh and the salsa was very blended and flavorful. The menu was huge with tons of options, and I ordered a sopapilla stuffed with beans and ground beef. Sopas aren't very popular where I live in Florida so I wanted something different. The food came out fast, and hot, and very plate looked fantastic. The rice and beans served with my dish were delicious, and the sopapilla was a nice change from regular tortillas. We also got a complimentary order of sopapillas and honey for the table - I didn't try them because I was stuffed from my meal, but everyone loved them.Great prices and amazing amount of food for the money.

I had the carne chimichanga with red and green. It tasted very good but the food was just warm not hot. My server was fast and friendly. The restaurant was bright and Airy and very clean. Definitely will be going back when I'm in that part of town.

We couldn't find a restaurant in old town that was not crazy busy so we walked down the street too this little Anita and I did not disappoint. The staff was courteous and helpful and the food was really fast and it was very good. We will definitely come back again. I recommend the beef chimichanga. It was amazing and don't forget the sopapillas and honey.

Another great spot to get some great New Mexican food. This particular visit was quick and service was good. It was close to closing time when I stopped by while here for work. Food was great as always and the ambiance was nice as hardly anyone was in the establishment. Wait staff loudly talking of their marijuana use and their Halloween costumes made this visit interesting. Despite anyone being in the restaurant, the wait staff was super loud. Not a good place to talk about "smoking a joint". Understand NM has legalized recreational use, but not all people enjoy the talks of it especially in this setting. As a guest hearing loudly and clearly what their discussion was about, made me question when that became normal in such an establishment.

Shopped Old Town til we dropped or at least I did. Have been to Albuquerque many times and she grew up here. Little Anita's has been a favorite for years. Today did nothing to dispel our previous experiences. It was slow Sunday afternoon on a very hot day, fine with us. The margarita of the month sign greeted us on the way in. She loved the blue curaçao version. She chose chicken enchiladas with green sauce (yes you get a choice in New Mexico). The plate included rice, beans and a sopapilla. I chose a taco and chile relleno from the ala carte menu. Asked for sauces on the side so I could taste red, green and Christmas. All were wonderfully delicious. Our server was experienced and it showed. He visited us just enough to be there when we needed him. During our discussion he suggested another Mexican restaurant to visit while we were in town. He was professional and helpful. Everything we got was what we ordered and didn't take long. Definitely gonna eat here again.

Good food, good service, great vibe in Old Town. One of the classic New Mexican stops if you are in the area. Also a great place to order to go if you are staying at one of the hotels near by. Only a short walk away.

Hubby and I arrived at this location by accident! . Usually, I plug filters into the search feature and choose what pops up based on what we're in the mood for that day, but he pulled over into the parking lot to get out of the road to take a phone call. The weather changed from sunny to dark and gloomy in a few moments and i turned around to realize we were parked next to the restaurant. I had no preparation but was pleasantly surprised to see the large multiple dining rooms busy for a Saturday evening. The service was quick and efficient and our server was friendly (I forgot the young gentleman's name but he wss polite and efficient! (He had Piercings). I ordered a Chimi with salsas on the side to try something different and thoroughly enjoyed it! The crust was nice and crispy, and the cheese was melted evenly on top. ... and the price was right for both quality and quantity. Have been back since our original visit. The quality of their food is consistent, and Kaylee (spell-check) provided excellent service on our last visit!
