Lisa Ereifej MD

Bottom line: amazingly BELOW average doctor who will not listen to you, and ultimately, will talk down to you for asking questions about your care. She's there for the money only, folks. Beware. Avoid. Makes the CARE profession look really bad. My sister and I saw her because my sister needed a new endo. Our visit with Dr. Lisa Ereifej (NOT a board-certified endocrinologist, by the way) at Lovelace Asuna and Jefferson was a traumatic experience because she spoke down to us when we asked SIMPLE questions about my sister's care. Although she listened she didn't really hear us - she was only concerned about what she thought, and ignored our concerns and questions. We felt that she didn't have the "heart" to help people but did her work because of money. We sorta felt ripped-off because half way through our appointment she blurted out that she's going to refer us to someone else. We spent a specialist fee to get pushed to someone else. If you want a humane real person to treat you than run far far away from Dr. Lisa Ereifej. Docs like her make the care profession look really really bad. BTW, I never do this, but if you have a follow-up question about my visit with Dr. Lisa Ereifej please shoot me an email and I'll answer any question you have.

I had a 40 minute appointment with Dr. Ereifej yesterday. This was my first appointment with her and I felt that she was thorough and competent. I have a very complex case, with a long medication list, and she asked all the right questions and listened to (and responded to) all of my concerns. I am a very "involved" patient that expects a lot from a doctor. I have only positive experiences to share. I'll see her again in 6-weeks.

Very pleased. Respectful, knowledgeable, professional and thorough. She knows her stuff. I transferred my endocrinology care from a Board Certified Dr/researcher and Dept director. Dr. Ereifej demonstrated in minutes her competency, her skill and her care. I ask alot of questions, sometimes twice, and she patiently, and thoughtfully answered all my questions clearly. I feel very comfortable and relieved about the care I am getting.

Dr. Ereifej is an excellent physician. She took the time to explain options for my condition. I felt she was genuninely interested in providing me with information and a plan for feeling better. She is up to date and very knowledgable. I feel lucky to have found her as a resource. Her video visits are outstanding. Time saving for both of us.

Had an appointment today with Dr. Ereifej and she was absolutely wonderful. She was extremely thorough and addressed all of my concerns and questions. She ordered extensive labs and testing. She absolutely made me feel heard and hopeful. Also she is very kind and compassionate. I definitely recommend her!

I had a virtual appointment with Dr. Ereifej. When the appt was scheduled, her staff only gave me the option of a virtual appt., even though other doctors are seeing patients. I did ask the individual who scheduled the appt how she would feel the nodules in my neck and she could not give a response. I did have my appt and Dr. Ereifej mentioned my previous doctor by name but she was not looking at her chart correctly because I have not had that doctor in 10+ years. Very ill prepared. I felt like she was not listening to our conversation. I did mention to her that I wanted to see her in person instead of a virtual visit the next time. She said she would be willing to see me but also at the same time had many excuses as to why she did not want to see patients. I did have an ultrasound appt and I still have not heard back with the results. Her staff did say she had the results and would call me to go over but I still have not heard back from her or her staff. I've emailed, numerous times, through the portal and have made several phone calls asking for a response and still nothing. If you want an Endocrinologist that will give good care and follow up, I would not recommend Dr. Ereifej. There are many other options out there and I will be looking for a new Endocrinologist.
