Leonard Tire & Automotive Repair

The Lomas shop is 15 blocks from my home and on my way to the gym, so I've stopped in there several times for help and advice. It was always freely given and when I did need repairs, they were done properly and economically.

Left my car with them because my air conditioner was running hot again. (They "fixed" the problem last summer.) Called them two days later to see if there were any updates after not hearing a single word only to be told they actually didn't have the right freon. 10/10 communication skills.

Came in for emissions, they got me in quickly and had me ready to go, free coffee tea and cocoa is also available

Honesty Ethics and Auto Repair are three words you will rarely find in the same sentence, but at Leonard Tire and Auto it's how they do business. I recently decided to take my daughter's Honda CRV to Leonard Tire and Auto for a third opinion on repairs. My ex took the CRV to Perfection Honda Service department. They proceeded to make a long list of things broken or worn on the car. The list was well over 1,000.00 in repairs and new tires. Perfection Honda recommended the following replacement and repairs: Front sway bar links wornLower ball joints openFront studs feel harsh, worn, dust boots broken.Front and rear sway bars replace Realign after ball joint replacementNew tiresRear brakes 805.25 219.95Totall: 1025.24 not including the new tires. So she took it to another mechanic, this time TKS Automotive LLC, handed them perfection Honda's list and they added to itTo the tune of...$1584.00!We then took the car to Leonard tire and Auto they looked at it for a day and a half and found nothing wrong! They did say it could use some wipers but we can buy those at checker or wal mart. They even told my daughter that she was taking good care of her car. The Mechanic shook his head at both the proposed invoices from Perfection and TKS and shook his head and said," I'm all for making the Leonard's money, but not like this, never like this."

Got me in, got me a great price on my tires, and had chairs outside where you could wait. During COVID, I really appreciate this step from an essential business. They answered my questions and found me a good deal at a moments notice. I appreciate that always.

We have been clients of this company since our move to NM in 2007. A friend from the neighborhood recommended them and they are excellent.

The hours are not in sync with my work schedule but I had an unusual situation and decided to give them a try. The work was fine, it seems, but not one person thanked me for my business or even gave me a friendly look. I never leave Discount Tires or Jiffy Lube or Valvoline without knowing that my business is appreciated, but I had not one word of this on my visit. I will continue to take my business where I am at least given a parting "thank you." This is for the Leonard Tire on Eubank.

very unprofessional!!! customer service is horrible especially from an assistant manager named Bobby....do yourself a favor and take your car somewhere else where you'll get good service for your money... ended up going to discount tires where they provided fantastic service!

I took my car in for an oil change, a new tire, change my tail light, and to check my breaks because why not... I expected to pay a ton of money. I thought the breaks were good but wasn't sure and I thought there's no way this tire can be patched. They patched my tire and it's still going good months later. They confirmed my breaks were still good. And at this point I don't remember what I payed.. but I do remember telling them they were my favorite people when they quoted me.. it was hardly anything!!! I wish I could just take them with me since I'm only in the area for work. Definitely would recommend!!
