Very cool old train station vibe. Passengers were loading and unloading when the Amtrak train made its stop. The station is divided by a doorway for commuters on one side and the Taproom for bar patrons on the other. Decor was southwestern simple. One could choose to sit outback by the trains or out front looking towards Legal Tender. A food truck was made available in the parking lot-perfect!Local beer on tap and various other bottled offerings. Wine and bubbles were also available. Local live music played for a few hours and fun was had by all. Limited days and hours so call before make the drive.

This tap room (beer & wine) is really awesome, I love it...great local draft beer from Chili Line Brewing in Santa Fe, and simple bar food (sandwiches, avocado toast, chips/guac, pierogi/kraut, sausages, etc.) plus free peanuts in the shell. Tap room is located inside the Amtrak station, originally the historic 1880's AT&SF station...lots of history, charm and local character (I loved how cute the place is). Nicely decorated with local flavor and train memorabilia, you can sit inside or outside. Amtrak's Southwest Chief stops twice daily, usually between 1-2 PM, a fun time to have a beer and watch train activity. General hours are 12-6, and open until 7 Thursday-Sunday. Live music on weekends. I had fun talking with a few local people plus meeting a group traveling back home to Chicago via train. Not to be missed if you love history and beer like I do!!

Our little "Cheers" in Lamy. Casual tap room plus wine and delicious affordable, well cooked and presented dishes. Music on the weekends. No reservations needed. Just what we needed in the Eldorado area.

I am visiting from San Francisco. What a find! This is the perfect conjunction of American history, railroads, beer, ambiance, conversation, local colorful tiny town - (and easy parking.) I happened to be there when a movie crew was filming and great band playing outdoors. Left with a smile.

Fun place for lunch. Even more fun if you happen to catch the Amtrak stopping. A step back in time for sure.

Great place to go to after hiking the Galisteo Basin Preserve. So warm and welcoming. I had the delicious salmon tacos by chef Cindy Lu. Live music, great beer on draft from Chile Line Brewing, New Mexico wines at a very reasonable price. Locals and tourists alike will love this place. Visit and bring all your friends!

We were staying at an Airbnb south of Santa Fe and wanted to grab a bite and a drink nearby. We fell in love with this place, the food, and the people.

This is a great place to kick back and relax. Only about 5 miles from the traffic light for Eldorado's Avenida Vista Grande. A great place to get away, listen to live music and spend time with your friends.
