Lala Bean & Green Cafe

Apparently this place has been here for a couple of years now but I never really noticed it. So glad I took the chance to stop in! The selection of coffee/tea was great. They had regular coffees, a variety of boba options, and also milk teas and even thai tea! I will definitely have to go back to try the thai tea but it was a super chilly morning so that was not in the cards on this visit.I tried the macha coffee on a whim and it was even better than I expected. I will have to go back and try the food options also. This is a great space with some tables and a back room that would make a good space to work quietly, play some board games or work in a group. The staff were also super friendly. One caveat is that this is not going to be your super quick coffee stop. Things are certainly made with care and take a bit of time. That said, definitely stop in and check it out!!

Friendly Staff to greet you. Lala Bean is comfortable, large, not crowded and quite pretty inside..:) The Lass swooned over a large cup of Cappuccino..The Lad enjoyed his half sweet Iced Mocha..We shared a most delicious yummy slice of NY Style Cheesecake w. a Chocolate Syrup Ribbon and Strawberries. This Java Cafe so rocked. I come here when I want to feel frustrated lol All jokes aside, this place is very inconsistent. First experience, I asked what was the difference between the Okinawa and the Hokkaido. There were no descriptions of the drinks - no ingredients listed. The girl proceeds to give me a history lesson of Okinawa and Hokkaido. I thank her, but then ask again what is the difference in the drinks and she doesn't understand me. Another girl comes over and says one is sweeter than the other. I chose the less sweet one. Next time I go back, I order the same beverage. Now I taste coconut. This girl tells me there is coconut milk in the drink. Well, I can't drink coconut milk and almost panic...My husband orders his drink and every time we go - he orders the same drink and it is made a different way each time. One girl says it has brown sugar, the other guy says its caramel...we both don't know if it's brown sugar or caramel - it depends on who is working. So...there is a big language barrier, the service is spotty, and the menu does not list the ingredients in the drinks lol They have a huge space and offer Karaoke and game night - I have not been to either. The drinks are good, but be warned you may not received the same drink when you return. Also, be careful if you have an allergy because they may serve you something you're allergic to.

I'm obsessed with Lala Bean & Green Cafe. It's pretty much everything I look for at a cafe. Good selection of drinks and something savory and sweet to eat. It's also clean, with lots of parking and space to sit that I never have to worry about not having space to sit and chill. Great family feel staff! It's also open early in the morning everyday and stays open til evening time!I also think the place is so affordable! You can get a combo drink and a sandwich, bagel, sweet for just $8. What more? They have a frequent customer card that gives you perks every 5 drinks.I have no idea how this place stays open with so many nice things for it's customers..I only wish it stays open so I can continue to stop by here to relax for a long time!

Beautiful space with plenty of seating. A great place for a large meetup or team coffee event. Very pleasant staff and amazing coffee.

Lala Cafe is a boba and coffee shop located on Montgomery and San Pedro. The inside is a large space - plenty of room for larger groups and a pleasant area overall for casual hangouts. The boba was quite good and available in a variety of sweetness levels. My taro milk tea was perfect at 25% sweetness. My wife ordered a latte which was made well. They have a variety of non-dairy options such as almond and oat milk. They have a few baked goods and sandwiches available but we did not try them. The service was overall good, although they did get one of our drink orders wrong. I would definitely return and get some more tea from this store!

This is a cool little place. I had the Matcha Coffee. It was very interesting. It was my first time trying that. It's not what you would expect so you need to have an open mind. This place was very clean not busy not loud. Give it a try.

Very sweet and fun place to stop in and have a beverage or a snack. The inside is pretty large with lots of convenient tables. There are even electric massage chairs you can pay to use. I had a boba and a muffin and my friend had a boba and acai bowl and we had a nice time visiting in a quiet and private table secluded in the back, it was great. The table we sat at even had electric outlets to power devices, I thought that was a nice touch. The staff was very friendly and kind.

Happy and surprised with the interior of the café, which is spacious and there's room between the tables so that you can have your own space while enjoying your coffee. There's also a back area that is separated off so you could study and not have to deal with noise. They have a large selection of coffees and tea, and you know fru-fru drinks. I'm a straight up coffee with a shot of espresso guy and I'm happy with the coffee that they gave me. They also have a nice selection of desserts.

Such good service and the açaí bowl was so good! Such a cute place for a quick drink.
