I lived here for 3 years while doing my master's degree at UNM. Management is responsive and kind, maintenance is fast, and the facilities are fantastic. I also didn't hear much of anything through the walls so if you need a place where you don't feel like a part of your neighbors' conversations, this is it!!

Ladera Vista is probably the nicest apartment complex I've lived in. We lived there for a year before we had to move for work. I was sad to do so, because I thoroughly enjoyed living there. The staff there is very friendly and professional, and is always willing to work with you to solve any issues quickly and efficiently. We had some trouble with our A/C unit that required multiple calls to maintenance until it was fixed 100%. Miguel, the maintenance manager, was always on top of it though. I would call in to have it looked at, and he would show up on the same day, if not the next. I've found that it's very difficult to get that kind of maintenance service at any other apartment. Kristen and Jessica, at the front desk, were also very responsive with anything we needed. Granted, this place is not 100% perfect, but no matter how hard you look, you will never find an apartment complex that is. Ladera Vista always strives to be the best they can be, which is really all anyone can ask for.

I've I've been living here for over a year now and I like it cuz it's very quiet and very clean.also the maintenance staff is very responsive when it comes to maintenance request even if they're not emergency requests. I also want to give a special thanks to the staff for getting rid of all the dog waste around the complex thank you!

We've been living here for 3 years now and I only have a couple issues. The security here is awful. At least once a week a car is broken into and when I've spoken to management they suggested it was my fault. They aren't consistent with policies either. Some months trash will be on balconies for weeks at a time and nothing is done about it although it's against property policies to do so. Parking sucks here but there's not much anyone can do about it except ensure only cars with parking passes are the only ones allowed to be here. Staff is friendly and has fun events from time to time that allow you to meet your neighbors and staff. Gym has great new equipment and the pool area is a nice place to relax.

Offering good apartments for a slightly high rent, Ladera Vista offers a small workout room, a pool, and covered parking (for an additional monthly fee). The place is mostly clean and is situated near enough to Coors to be convenient but far enough away to avoid the headaches of ABQ's very "special" drivers. But, there are some problems. Security is an issue...the parking lot is very dark at night and some cars near me got vandalized a few weeks ago. Management did nothing about it except to promise to increase the "courtesy" patrols--which means that the young guy will whizz through the parking lot smoking a cigarette maybe one or two more times a night. The pool is nice to have but doesn't get cleaned nearly enough...I'll often find dead bugs, dirt, leaves, and even bird feathers. Some of this is what you'd expect from an apartment complex--it's not like you're entering into a contract with anyone who's really invested in your future. But the safety thing in the parking lot is a real concern. If you're thinking of moving here, press the point before you sign.

I asked for a reserved carport near my apartment when I first moved in. I was given a carport 100 ft. away from my apartment. However, the crowded parking lot makes parking difficult. I am concerned that I might run into another car. Therefore, I asked the leasing office to allow me parking in another carport. I was given to a narrow carport which is 300 ft. away. Although I have a small car (Toyota Prius), the column hits my car door and scratches the car door. I wasn't happy. I asked the leasing office for another carport parking place. The girl working in the leasing office warned me I cannot change my parking carport again. This is the most unreasonable and unfriendly leasing office I have to deal with. When the carport number was given to me each time, I didn't see it. Therefore, I couldn't tell if I liked the carport or not. I have to reject it because I cannot park in a crowded parking lot. I will get into an accident. I also have to reject the carport if the column scratches my car door. The manager at Vista Ladera Apartment has no interests in our safety. They just collect our rents.

The employees here like Shayla the manager and Miguel the indispensable maintenance are the best. I lived here for 9 months. I really liked the one bedroom apartment I had on the ground floor. The neighbors were quiet and friendly. The office was always helpful, and maintenance matters were always handled quickly. I would have stayed there longer but I was moving with family to Florida. This is a great place to live with the best staff.

I have recently moved to Albuquerque for work. I represent NM, CO, and West TX in my industry. This apartment complex is completely inadequate. It does not accommodate for parking. If you have any guest stay over later in the evening the complex will boot your guests vehicle! Leaving them with a $75 fine. How inconvenient is that. Almost feels like a prison....since they seem to want to regulate how long your visitors can stay. This complex lacks quality as well as customer support. I will be sure to use my marketing & networking skills so that no one makes the mistake of choosing this place. Sincerely,Young Professional
