This review is for the snack shop only - not for golf. So I attended a music event - paid $5 admission - no problem. Decided to get a beer (and prices are reasonable). Noticed the menu was not great - and wasn't going to get anything except they had a special - ENCHILADAS, RICE AND BEANS $6. I was hungry so I thought I would get it. Enchiladas are easy to make right - and I thought it was the most appetizing thing on the menu. So I asked for just the enchiladas since I am trying to stay off carbs - no rice or beans. When I put a fork into the plate of supposed enchiladas, all it was ended up being a pile of wet soggy corn masa with some psuedo-enchilada sauce. I picked through the pile of masa and nothing else was there. No cheese, no protein, no veggies - just masa and sauce. GROSS, DISGUSTING, AND WORST OF ALL A TOTAL LIE. HOW CAN A BUSINESS SELL SUCH CRAP AND CALL IT FOOD? The only reason for 2 stars is because the staff was really friendly. NEVER AGAIN WILL I EAT HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111

Nice course. Tight fairways, well manicured landscape, tricky greens. A little bit of construction underway on some holes. Overall, a pretty good course.

Decent enough golf course that is pretty well maintained. I don't recommend the grill. It seems to have become a local bar and hang out. The young woman behind the counter spent a great deal of time chatting with people out on the floor and ignored people waiting in line to order. There was one pair in front of us, and once she decided yo take care of them she took an impressively long time getting beers for them from some other location, somewhere. After being second in line for quite some time while she chatted up people in the place, we finally gave up and our party of four left and went to a real restaurant.

Absolutely the worst golf staff I have ever encountered. Course never spends money on range balls. The course is always in bad shape. Plus they double and triple book every day, never can you finish a round in under 5. Arroyo blows this course away. Avoid this course at all cost

Well. Its been a ling time since I played this course but it holds some fond memories. Located on the West Mesa of Albuquerque, Ladera is a muni course about 20 minutes from Downtown, Albuquerque. The course has a 9 hole executive course as well as an 18 hole championship course. Theres a well supplied pro shop and coffee bar/restaurant. Driving range and practice green is well kept and accessible. Some negative points. Typical Albuquerque weather can cause frost delays and cancellations when snow falls. And the summer monsoon rains are no joke. But the price is right and green fees are very competitive. So if you're in the New Mexico area looking for a great value, check out Lasers Municipal Golf Course.

Beautiful morning for golf. This course has definitely improved over the years. Nice cheap and fun city course. The staff is really nice and helpful. Might even catch some balloon landings.

My husband thinks this course is a little whack, but I think it's good...especially for the west side! The Good: I really like the golf shop. They have a great selection of stuff. The prices for golf are also pretty good for this city. I really liked that you could get a $9 jumbo bucket of balls (it's A LOT-make sure it's at least 2 people) for the driving range. I also got to work on my putting using my own balls. There's also a nice pond un the course and you may get to see some ducks hanging out there! The Bad: Definitely far from the greenest greens in the city. It is okay, but pretty patchy in some areas. Will I be back? Definitely. It's close to home and is decently priced. It's a great place to practice!

I loved the course, The staff in the pro shoppe are all very friendly and professional , As a former PGA employee and greens super I have to say the greens were very nice, this is a municipal course and I highly recommend it. It's long and has some challenging holes but not difficult. Good fun!!!

While traveling through ABQ we wanted to play this course. Eric and the Pro Shop staff were wonderful to work with. Excellent customer service makes even a challenging day of golf worthwhile. Thank you for a great experience. We will be back!

There was a time, under 'other' PGA pros running the course, that Ladera was a GOLF course, not the local drunken hangout for the neighborhood. It seems the current nearby pro, with or without the City's consent, has chosen instead to turn Ladera into an Applebee's with golf holes. The noise in the evenings from the bar area overwhelms the holes and the clientele in the bar spill out onto the golf practice areas on a regular basis, ruing the golf experience.Drunken fights in the parking lot are commonplace, and you can tell the staff is overwhelmed. Not recommended....
