Had a 12:30 tour booked, had to wait until 1:10 to be seen. Then learned that there are pet weight limits of 45 pounds. Online I just saw "pet friendly" noted. Wouldn't recommend- if they are that late for a scheduled tour, I can't imagine what their actual service is like for residents.

I have lived here since last year and all was great until the weather got warmer and the noise from the kids at the basketball court started. I unfortunately rented an apt right next to the court, so my fault, but had hoped it would just be kids playing basketball. Well it's not. It's 15-20 kids playing and not basketball. Several kids are constantly yelling, screaming and cussing. Loud enough that I can hear them with the windows closed and tv on. Absolutely no parents around. I have called and taken pics and videos per the office, but no response or changes. Some of the kids started yelling and cussing at me when I took pics. Nice...I came home today with a broken window. One of the kids threw a rock through my window!!I Went to the office to report it after making several calls and they again told me to take pictures. They never got my videos either. Lol. Yeah ok. I won't expect a change. I have decided to move out. Don't expect a call back or any response to your problems. We'll see if the window gets fixed.

This is absolutely one of the worst places I have ever resided. The staff treats tenants horrendously and they leave work requests unattended, including sewage spewing out of the shower stall from the neighbors apt.

While I have had positive interactions with the staff when they do actually communicate with me, the lack of communication here is a HUGE problem. I (and other residents I know here) find it terribly difficult to get someone to return phone calls or emails, so you have to go the office if you want a guaranteed response. After you've signed your lease, you feel like a bank account if you, like me, work during the day, because otherwise you're lucky if anyone bothers to call or email or even let you know maintenance has worked on something, if they are actually working on it, which is 50/50. Not once has anyone left a note that they've been inside my apartment in the year and 3 months I've been here. Some examples: My window once broke in the middle of winter, and after 7 days of waiting, I asked if someone was going to come fix it, and they said they had completely forgotten about it. They claim that they have security at night, but I've never seen any such thing. They claim that they have a security camera in front of the leasing office, but unless it is the smallest camera one can find, I don't think that exists either. When I moved in, I asked them to come back and fix a few things with the cabinets and carpet; that never happened. I asked to be put on a waiting list for a parking space; that never happened. They repainted the handicap spaces but didn't put a sign that there was wet paint, so I stepped in it and ended up with a blue stain on my carpet. I asked about the lights not working on the carport I was paying for and got several different stories but never once was told if and/or when the lights would be fixed so that I could make an informed decision about whether I wanted to use the spot or not. It's fine to be imperfect, but I don't think it is too much to ask to get honest, accurate, timely information so that we know the full story and can make decisions accordingly. And here, the information you get is rarely honest, accurate, or timely (unless you are relentless in follow-up) in my experience. The manager and agents are nice when you do speak to them, but at the end of the day, fundamentally they have so many issues with communication, honesty, and follow-through that I would not recommend it to anyone. They claim that they're receptive to feedback, but I can't comment on how or whether anything will change... so maybe someone else will have a better experience if they overhaul their current approach to managing the property, start returning phone calls and emails, take responsibility for things, provide complete and accurate information, and follow through on commitments without requiring perpetual follow-up.

awful place that just burned down, karma for lying about no gas heat.made me sicker than a dog and i had to go to a senior home. they told me it was all electric. then they tried to make me think i was crazy for living there for over a year and not knowing it was gas heat. even their answering service has no idea that they have gas heat.not to mention you cannot put anything on your patio, not even a windchime and no flowers, what kind of place is this? buyer beware, do not live here, you will be unhappy. i moved out the 2 months ago and feel 100% better. they would not even take a doctor's note for me to not have to pay $4000 to get out of the lease. their page still doesn't say that there is gas heat. i think i will take them to court for the $4000. wish me luck and you all find a better and not so expensive to live. also you can hear the upstairs neighbors every move. just say nooooooo to them!.the neighbors over you is so noisy you can almost hear them talk. mamma mia i am soooo glad to be in a senior home because i got sick there.

Clean, quiet, and safe. I've been living in Albuquerque for five years and my first four were spent living at another place on the west side. It was awful. Then, in 2020, I made the move to La Mirage and cannot say enough about the staff, the environment, the courteousness of my neighbors, and the community as a whole. Living here has raised my quality of life and improved my outlook on Albuquerque overall!

While the location of La Mirage Apartments is very convenient, there are no safety measures for vehicles. Since signing my lease and moving in 3 months ago, I have see three different trucks within the apartment complex that were leaking fuel because someone drilled a hole in the bottom of the gas tank. No vehicle is safe and the apartment has not implemented any measures to prevent thing. The emergency line is only active during office hours and the security guard is MIA if they even have that. No security cameras are available and poor lighting everywhere except for the visitor center. Don't let the nice front office trick you into putting your vehicle in jeopardy.

TERRIBLE! DO NOT MOVE HERE. Negative Stars if that was possible. After living in the apartments for 13 years, I have witnessed abuse and landlord fraud in multiple areas from La Mirage Aparments (a NALS business). Contractors have entered my balcony at 7am on a saturday without any forewarning, busted a window leaving glass inside my apartment, busted a light bulb and just left all the glass for me to get cut. This place is all about money money money. They will steal from you in every possible way. I have spoken with all the different managers over the years, the best I recieved was "We are sorry". Sorry we damaged your rug with bleach, sorry we moved all your furniture while you were on vacation, etc etc etc. Still considering court action since they charged me over $500 for a move out "cleaning" for a space that they immediately renovated. Fuck you, la mirage. I will never live in another NALS apartment. Ever. Absolute corporate bullshit.

I would not recommend living here. Ever since COVID-19 they were not willing to work with me due to being laid off and family having covid. Even though people are going through hardship they strictly don't care. There quick to add late fees ASAP even though your going through hard times. Once my lease is up I'm done with them, ever since they started repainting the buildings they seems to just want there money and nothing else. I highly recommend finding another place before moving here. Last option at best other than that the apartments are rundown in the inside in my opinion your basically paying for the view of the mountain sad to say.
