Took a drive to Vegas for lunch as it had been years since I had been there. Googled this place as I like to patronize mom and pop restaurants. Restaurant was fairly busy upon our arrival but we were seated immediately. We ordered chips and salsa (which were not complimentary) to start off. My mom and BFF ordered the chile rellenos plate and I ordered a Navajo taco with Xmas (red and green chile). Food was ok, both mom and I enjoyed our plates. I found the green chile was spicier than the red, but the red had more flavor. My friend did not like his plate at all as he thought it was terrible. The salsa was very mild and lacked flavor, but the chips were good and they give you plenty of them. Also, I did not like how they served the entrees on paper plates and your drinks in red Dixie plastic cups. I feel that's fine if you are ordering fast food or eating outside at a taco truck/stand but not at a sit-down restaurant. I will definitely not be back, only because I don't live in the area, but if I did I might order take out.

Only had their breakfast so far but it was fairly good. I had the fiesta omelette Christmas style and it was good and I liked both their red and green sauce. The hash browns were ok. They forgot to bring us our sopapilla at first but we asked for it and they brought it out shortly warm and with honey and it was excellent. Nothing was outstanding but nothing was bad but I felt their prices were very fair for what you got. I would eat here again.

A local friend lifted up the Burnt Tacos as a Las Vegas must try. After looking at The Hillcrest, El Rialto, Kocina de Raphael, and El Sombrero we decided La Fiesta had the best price and look. We were not disappointed! Food was made quickly, corn tortillas were fresh, and our first ever burnt tacos were just right. My wife and I disagreed bout which chili was the best. I favored the green and she the red. Definitely burst your Burnt Taco Cherry here first.

We ordered the most simple order on the planet: 2 bean and cheese tacos.. (two flour tortillas with beans and cheese) how difficult can that be?first of all, The cashier was extremely unprofessional and unhelpful. She told me and my fiancé that it would be "cheaper" to purchase a PLATE than to purchase the tacos itself. She put our order down for two bean and cheese taco PLATES, with a total of SIX tacos. Why the h*ll would you have us order two plates when all we came in for was two tacos? Our total came out to $17. Ridiculous when tacos by itself are at most $3-4 each. The cashier brought out our plates & they were just disgusting. Fried, covered in grease & nothing close to what we wanted. Me and My fiancé are not the type to complain when it comes to food but we took ONE bite and we couldn't even swallow. We had to address the issue. We brought the food back to the cashier and told her this isn't what we ordered. She just looked at this other older woman, who I'm guessing was the owner or manager considering they were sitting on their phones like they had nothing better to do and said to us "you're going to have to repay to get new tacos because we can't resell the ones you have". I have NEVER been to restaurant where they were not only UNWILLING to make the CORRECT order but would CHARGE us AGAIN if they did so? We weren't asking for a refund, we were asking for the RIGHT order. We just threw the food away. Terrible service. I DO NOT recommend to anybody. we are from Texas, so our expectations might just be from southern hospitality but even then, as a BUSINESS, your customers satisfaction is what pays YOUR business!

I gave this place two stars based on the lack of customer service and general employee incompetence. There were 3 of us for lunch today - Saturday 1/28/23. This normally packed establishment wasn't busy. We were promptly seated and drinks brought out quickly. Our food order was quickly taken. However, the waiter kept coming back to ask the specifics of what each plate should be (red or green Chile, beef or chicken , etc) after he took the order. Obviously he didn't do a good job of taking the order. The food arrived promptly. Overall the food was good. Except the sopapillas, they were rubbery and just warmed up - not fresh. The waiter left the hand written check at the table immediately after dropping off the food. He misspelled most of the check (no wonder he kept coming back asking questions). When it was time to pay, I ran my credit card. The screen warned of a convenience fee. I asked about this and the lady at the register stated it would not charge my card the fee. She lied. When I got back the receipt, my card was in fact charged a convenience fee. I asked to speak to a manager and the manager had no resolution. The employees here are either extremely new and haven't been trained or just really bad at their jobs. Also, if an establishment has a convenience fee for credit cards, have a sign on the door or at least warn the customers before they order. Terrible customer service. Never again.
