La Estrella Event Center

We recently held an family and reception at this venue and although it was pretty the manager,, was rude, would not tell me there name, and refused to tell me who they work for, extremely unprofessional and practically threw us out of the venue before it was time. Since she kicked us out of the indoor area we moved outside to have the dance. While guests got up to dance, the manager instructed her staff to clear the tables where guests were sitting at. After the dance there was no place to sit and visit. The tables and all the chairs were cleared away. They where also upset they had to clean the tables as if we made to much of a mess. There was no alcohol, no fighting, nothing that would prompt anyone to have to leave early or cut the event short. Not to mention she was rude throughout the evening. I personally went to the kitchen to get ice that we had provided and paid for ourselves and she was arguing with a member of her staff to NOT give me ice. Even though we were the ones paying for all the food. She had no right to tell us to leave before we were supposed to finish up.From what I saw and experienced, the staff did a horribleJob of cleaning and setting up and complain the entire time. ( I give the whole venue 1 stars because the venue deserves to be recognized. But I would never, ever rent this facility if the same staff is working there. That lady either hates her job or has a serious case of authority that went to her head.I will never ever rent this facility no matter how pretty it is! If you want to have a stress free event, do not rent La Estrella Event Center. There are PLENTY of other venues that are not as expensive and much prettier.If the owner would like to contact me, he/she can contact me anytime.

There is no way they only get 5 star reviews. Once the Bride and Groom finished eating the manager instructed her staff to start putting the tables and chairs away and clean up all the food. I asked what the venue would cost to host my mothers 80th birthday party and instead of telling me the venue price she laughed and practically said, "you can't afford it" and walked away.
