La Cantina

We were in Los Alamos to visit the museum and decided to have lunch. They have a a very varied Menu . The problem is the food wasn't that god. My cheese steak I think was a hamburger patty and it hardly had any cheese on it. My niece got Mac n cheese and she didn't eat because she didn't like it. Also, we found a piece of wire brush in the fries. My wife said her tacos were pretty good and that's about it. We had 6 people with us and only 1 liked the food

We gave this place another try. It has improved greatly since its opening! The menu has expanded in a good way. The price and quantity balance has improved greatly. The service has always been great and continues to be. The ambiance is great with both indoor and outdoor seating available. We sat in the covered outdoor seating and enjoyed a rain storm while having dinner. It was a nice experience. The restaurant is located in downtown Los Alamos near the breweries and Ashley Pond, so this place makes a great date night. We headed to the concert at Ashley Pond after dinner. We split the fig jam and ham on naan and mango habanero wings. The fig jam and ham was so so good! The flavor was sweet and slightly salty. I will order this again for sure! The mango habanero wings were good. They were also sweet, but no real heat to them. However, the flavor was great. I think I will order the buffalo wings next time to give those a try. I recommend this place.

Great service, good drinks, delicious food. Came here after a trip on the mountain and had some affordable drinks worth their price. Yall need to get there NOW.

I don't know what it is about their fish tacos, but they are so good. Nice place to go when you don't feel like eating at home, and it's usually quiet. Their salsa is yummy too.

Terrible service except for the nice busboy who did the work of the waitress. Salsa was pretty good but chips were stale and obviously from a bag. Our meals were decent. Save your money and time.

The food and service was decent, but it was definitely over priced. $18.50 for chips and guac/salsa is crazy!

Amazing! A must! This casual dining restaurant has something for everyone! I had the Angus steak, veggie tacos, hummus, and the olive oil; DELICIOUS! my meal was a generous portion, served piping hot, Our wonderful server. Don't say I didn't warn you, save room for dinner! Would definitely come back to this place.Thanks for a wonderful meal!

Y'all don't understand! vibes immaculate, drinks exquisite, food delicious... thinks place has great service very welcoming as soon as we sat down the vibes felt great in here high if yall a in Los Alamos super underrated for for only being open a year super great experience for the short time I was here.. GIVE IT A SHOT!!

The fish tacos were amazing!My sister had the shrimp tacos and was pleased as well. My husband had the pasta Bolognese and my son had the chicken tenders ( should be on the adult menu). Overall great choice for family night out.
