Perfectly good selection of food. Generous portions. Wonderful service - friendly and helpful staff.

What a disappointment. It started with the hostess/server who clearly had a serious bad hair day... maybe overworked? who knows. Never once had a smile or welcome word. Then the food... YUK!!! No sushi rice! Just plain white rice even on the eel handrail. The bento box drowned the salmon in overly sweet sauce, the tempura shrimp was almost non-existent within the just-OK panko batter. Oh, I rarely get the house saki, in this case I had grim regrets in doing so. Be forewarned!!! Don't do it... could not drink it. When the unsmiling server came over as I finished my meal and asked if all was OK, I gave a back-forth hand wiggle indicating "just so-so". No response to that which was the most disappointing of all. An employee who does not care what a customer thinks or experiences is either unhappy with the business or ... I dunno'... unhappy that she's working? Whatever... I'll never go back.Even so, I left a 20% tip... maybe it would make her smile?

The Hawaiian poke salad was spoiled and the spicy tuna tasted old and possibly spoiled when I called the owner. He told me that it must be the delivery person. How ridiculous. It took him about 20 minutes to get here not two weeks out outrageous.

Have to wait forever in line, been here more then 40 minutes the waitress hasn't came to even ask us what we wanted to drink, a couple of people have walked out because waiting for so long. Tables are so close to each other, not practicing COVID safe practices!

We are locals. The quality is consistent and the quality of the food is fine for the price. Service as always been up to standards. We recommend this place.

After years of dining with Kohnami, I have yet to be disappointed. The sushi has always been on point. I love the side rooms with tradition japanese feels. Don't miss when in Santa Fe!!
