Edit: in response to the owner's Google review: Again, terribly sorry about your injury. I'm recovering from a motorcycle accident and I know how difficult the recovery can be. But you can mark your business as temporarily closed on all major websites like Google to make it clear to your patrons. Not a big ask of a business owner to have clear and accurately listed hours of operation. Additionally, it would save you the grief of getting these one star reviews and having to respond to all of them with your personal story, which I'm sure is painful.I'm a vegan road-tripping from Los Angeles to NY. As you can imagine, any vegan food let alone scrumptious vegan food is scarce throughout this trip. I really wanted to stick up for this business based on some of the negative reviews, but this is bad. It's my understanding the owner of the business is dealing with some kind of injury/illness and you have my support and best wishes in recovering. But as a business owner you also have an obligation to your patrons. I delayed starting my drive by 2 hours this morning and drove in the opposite direction to support this business only to find a closed sign taped to the door. Your customers shouldn't have to check Yelp, Google, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and the yellow pages just to find out whether or not you're operational AT ALL. Wound up stopping at Whole Foods which opened at 7am and had all the vegan food I'll need for the next several days.

Presentation of food excellent. Very interesting faux egg. My dish was inedible after the first few bites. Entire dish was just piles and piles of more heat. Left the place with my mouth uncomfortably tingling. While I really wanted to love this place, the spice level in every sauce made the food difficult to eat.

They have the maple pecan donut back for fall and it is delicious. We also tried the pumpkin donut and it didn't disappoint! We were planning on stopping for lunch but heads up they now only serve their pasties, drinks and now burritos. The rest of the menu is gone. So this trip we just stuck to the donuts!

I really enjoyed the baked goods at Knead, they're really great options and they're all vegan. It's funny because I possibly have mentioned this in a previous review but this location used to be my favorite downtown brunch spot. Back when it was Gold Street café, they had the most amazing pancakes and I was so sad when one day they disappeared. Having Knead in that spot really fill the hole. They have a really good selection of different pastries, but I highly recommend sitting down for brunch. They also have some pretty solid drinks, including this beet Thai tea that I tried. It was lightly sweet and very creamy, similar to a milk tea.Service is always great and they have a really cute space.

This space used be home to the Gold Street Cafe and I loved that restaurant. However, I was extremely excited about Knead this morning. Great vegetarian options in a beautiful space. I got twisted bliss (HOUSE MADE CHALLAH BREAD, FRENCH TOAST BATTER, BANANA, STRAWBERRIES, RUM SAUCE, WALNUTS, AND SYRUP) it was super light and fluffy. The giant mound of whipped cream had a hint of lavender and wasn't too sweet. A great treat that wasn't heavy and each bite was delicious. My friend had the rancheros (BELGIAN WAFFLE, PINTO BEANS, SQUASH, CRISPY 15 POTATOES, RED OR GREEN CHILE, SUNSHINE SPHERE (OR) EGG, PICKLED RED ONION, AND TOMATO, CILANTRO). He said it was very flavorful and the red chile was HOT. The bottomless coffee was delicious, good quality, we both drink black coffee so quality is important to us. He also got a lavender lemonade mimosa which was light and refreshing without being lavender-heavy. The service was great, you order at the counter and then they bring everything to your table. They were kind and attentive. The only thing I would say is that you should go early. They use all fresh ingredients which means some of the dishes can and do run out.I would highly recomend Knead and will definitely be back.

EVERYONE!!! The reviews were correct!! The lemon pistachio pancakes are bussin af!! They were sooooo good and even as takeout they made sure to put alot of toppings on it. Was even good when there was nothing else to eat on the long way home! That being said make sure you eat them on the first day! The french toast was good and the biscuits and gravy tasted good too but you have to eat them all together!

This was a good find. When you enter it is a small eclectic environment that feels warm and welcoming. You go to counter to place your order and they bring it out to you. The portion size of the food was just right. Not too much not too little. The food was good as well. Good taste. The pineapple mimosa was delicious.

After a morning of wandering through the hot air balloon fiesta, we were hungry for something hearty, sweet and savory ... and found Knead.Right away I knew I was going to like Knead, I mean they had a panda photo right at the counter! So you order and pay at the counter, then take your seats in the open dining area and they bring the food to you.Everything on the menu sounded amazing, and I took the advice of Yelpers to order enough for 6 people even if there was only 3 of us. Just call me an oinker!First off, the lemon pistachio pancakes were light, fluffy and larger than my head! Three plate-sized pancakes stacked high topped by the lemon pistachio curdle, hit all the sweet and savory cravings. The ABQ version of a loco moco was smothered in a gravy that was silky and packed with flavor. I could've drank a cup of that gravy!Biscuits and smashed potatoes rounded out our carb-laden me, and wow was I sleepy after enjoying my fill. We also took home some of the potato bread (I think that's what it was called), and enjoyed it warmed the next day for breakfast.I'm still thinking about the gourmet meal even weeks later. And did I mention, it's all vegan?' You don't have to be vegan to enjoy ... it's just delicious nourishing food here at Knead!

INCREDIBLE FOOD! I was so blown away by this restaurant's food that I felt compelled to tell the workers/owners myself before I left and felt it was necessary to write a review! My fiancé and I were in line waiting to order when we realized this restaurant was vegan/vegetarian. No meat options in sight! When we discovered this, my fiancé suggested we can go elsewhere, but I said why don't we just try it? Their donuts are incredible, their food might be as well. (We first tried their donuts at The Shop, also not knowing they were vegan!) Let me tell you, we were pleasantly surprised! My fiancé ordered a bottomless coffee and I got the Spiced Golden Milk which was a Golden Milk with some Chai. My fiancé thought the coffee tasted great and my drink was so warming and delicious. As for food, we ordered the Cajun Lions Mane and the Caprese Croissant. Both were amazing but I just absolutely LOVED the Lions Mane! My favorite so far! I wish I could be hungry again just to eat the dish again! This dish made me dance! I have a happy this-is-freakin'-bomb dance that I do when I am enjoying delicious food! This food made me do that! The flavors and the textures were spot on in this dish! The combination of the walnut pesto with the lions mane and asparagus as well as the sauce was perfection! We loved how the breaded Lions Mane stayed crispy under the sauce! *drool* and the SAUCE! Wow! So rich and tasty! This place just does flavors so well. We finished with two pastries: a blueberry scone and a pecan pie croissant. The scone's frosting was delicious but the pecan pie croissant was from another world!! It was filled with some sort of almond paste and had pecans and another filling on top! So so so delicious! If you're not sure about eating here because you think you'll miss meat, I want to assure you that you won't even think about it! At the thought of anything vegan or vegetarian, my fiancé is not about it but he said you will not miss the meat because the flavors are spot on! Another plus was we were stuffed after our meal! Portions were perfect! The staff were so friendly! We were told three people called out today and they still did a great job running the restaurant, producing meals and getting people in and out with just 3 of them. The restaurant itself is clean and open. From our two entrees, drinks and pastries, we were blown out of the water! I am already excited to come back again. Highly recommended!!!!!

My best friend and I stopped by for brunch and loved the place. Everyone was very friendly and happy to explain the different dishes and make suggestions. I'm not vegan, but I'm pretty adventurous with my eating. I'm not scared to try anything. Service was quick and professional. The food was all so good! And, it looked delicious too. I especially loved the Rancheros. A waffle base with spicy chili style beans and zucchini spears? Topped with cilantro and onions and what appeared to be an egg yolk (but it's not!). Just come. Try the different dishes. I bet you'll like it.
