You must stop and enjoy a meal at this quaint restaurant! We were traveling through Española and saw the other wonder reviews. We had the potato skins, a double pepperoni pizza (left overs for breakfast in the morning), and three different entrees. My 78 year old mother said it was some of the best pizza. She felt like it was cooked well and not as acidic as most sauces tend to be. The potato skins were hearty and had plenty of fresh toppings to enjoy. The eggplant parmigiana was a huge portion size. The sauce was very fresh. Plenty of cheese. The angel hair pasta was tender and delicious. My friend had the steak salad with the house mustard vinaigrette. The fact that it was tossed in the dressing each piece was perfectly dressed. She said it was a large portion for a full. Great variety of greens. The steak was cooked well and was succulent and a cooked perfect. I had the salmon. A huge portion of fish cooked to perfection. The rice pilaf had so many fresh veggies. I tried it with the pork chop pineapple and date chutney and was pleasantly impressed with the sweet and savory flavor. The service was amazing. Quick and responsive to meet our needs. Chef came out to say hello and ask us about our meals. We appreciated his hospitality and take the time on a busy Saturday night. If I lived in town this would be a weekly restaurant to enjoy with my loved ones. My only suggestion for staff would to turn the volume of the music down a few decibels. It was sometimes hard to hear the person across the table.

We chose this place on a whim after not being able to decide where to go. Despite the fact that there were two guys outside across the street smoking fentanyl as we walked in, we immediately felt like we were no longer in Española when we were inside. The place looked and felt a bit upscale, and we felt a bit underdressed, but the staff didn't seem to care. Service was good, drinks coming from the bar were a bit slow, but the food was really delicious. Our special requests weren't met, but the server made it clear she did put them in and was apologetic and ready to fix them, but the food was good as-is so we left the way it came. Would definitely come back again. Prices on the menu are cash prices, so if using credit be prepared for a little bit of an upcharge at the end. Child portions are a little small so if your kids are older or are big eaters, just get them an adult portion.

Best place to eat in town !!! If you're passing through or local go try it ! Food was Amazing fresh local seasonal vegetables ,flavorful, delicious and reasonably priced. I am so happy we have a beautiful restaurant of this caliber in town :) no more having to go into Santa Fe or Albuquerque for fine dining we have it , a gem in our backyard! I have to say also is better than some of the places we have tried in santa fe or albuquerque! The service was great we had the pleasure of meeting the chief who is very kind and present with his staff ,they worked as a team and the great attitude and positive friendly faces is something rare to find in restaurant establishments these days.

Went to Ken'z for a birthday celebration. Very nice ambiance and excellent service. Nice touch with the rose folded napkins. We had caprese salad nicely presented and plenty for 4 people. We fettuccini Alfredo (flavorful, but a bit thin-freshly grated Parmesan reggiano would have been an excellent touch with freshly cracked black pepper, shrimp scampi, spaghetti and meatballs (my son refused to share his food the meatballs were so yummy), and mushroom and spinach fettuccini (also nicely flavored light white sauce with plenty of veges). We also had chocolate mouse and a lemon curd dessert-the staff sang happy birthday. My kids said you have to write a review.

Stopped by on the way back to Santa Fe from Pagosa Springs, and I'm so happy we did. We were seated quickly and the food was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The staff was super friendly and attentive. It's good enough that I'll drive up from Santa Fe just to eat here in the future.

What a pleasant surprise and excellent meal. We found ourselves in town New Years' Eve due to a change of plans. My husband wanted Italian and I wanted green chile; we were both very happy with the food, service and ambiance. We ordered the pasta primavera and the veggies were terrific. We added green chile to the pesto pizza. The two red NM Black Mesa wines were nice. If ever in Espanola again we will be back.
