"Kelly Liquor Barn" is not a barn at all, it's more like a dirty unorganized liquor warehouse that closes at 8pm. They have a decent selection of everything with super cheap prices, however, the best part about this - liquor barn that isn't a barn that closes way too early - is that it's right next to the best Mexican restaurant you never heard about in Santa Fe. Grab your tequila & Cerveza & keep on walking next door to Mariscos. Enjoy. Your welcome :)

Reviewing here for the bartending service, not the store (which i also like). Yvonne at Kelly was exceptionally helpful with the bar for our recent wedding! She was awesome at helping me with the details for our liquor license (daunting in NM) and continued to be great with selections and suggestions. Thank you Yvonne! Getting the bar figured out for our wedding was painless thanks to you! Highly recommend!

great selection, friendly staff and all the booze you can ask for! whats better than that? somebody literally gave this place a 1 star rating because they had to gaze upon a homeless person before entering. i wish there was a huge eyeroll emoji on my laptop right now. if you're not a classist heartless snob this place should do the job nicely!

We just moved so we had to clear out our liquor cabinet (well I guess we didn't HAVE to clear it out, but when you're paying by weight it seems silly to ship liquor around the country). So-o, I came to liquor barn with a long list of stock items. -Vodka- nice selection and normal prices-Wine- very extensive selection, and some of the ones that aren't well-known but are good values, like a Soave from Italy that I love, Gini.Classico- their wine buyer nows what they're doing - tons of good quality wines for $15 and under-Gin- unfortunately they didn't have Quintessential or Magellan, hubby's preferences, but they offered to order them for us- got another English one, haven't broken into it yetTriple Sec, Vermouth, other mixers- all normal pricesBeer- wow- this is like Liquor Mart, BevMo, or Dick's- huge selection of microbrews, which is GREAT for us 'cause my husband is particular about his beer (being a brewer himself)- good prices and things you don't normally see, like Rasputin, Le Fin du Monde, etc. Belgian selction good too- prices normalGood find, I will be back soon to check out the other Soaves they have.Edit 11/21- went back to pick up some of that Soave and they had ordered the Quintessential gin for me! How nice is that? Definitely glad I found this place, it's so nice to shop somewhere where my business is appreciated.

Sometimes "fine" is just another four-letter word. However you describe this place "fine" is not the first word to come to mind. Bars on the windows and a spartan selection and bereft looking clientele. Nice enough staff though. The prices were fair, not bad/not great. I just moved to Santa Fe. I love it. You can find all kinds of wine in every supermarket, and go for more interesting wine at the great wine stores. But I have yet to find a liquor store that compares to the ones in Norman, Oklahoma, let alone New York City. Still looking for a liquor store where I don't feel like I'm slumming in Santa Fe.

Warehouse 'O Booze!Great variety of liquor and beer. I haven't checked out the wine selection yet but I'm guessing its amazing as well. The place isn't as stylish and neat as Susan's but shit, their selection is just as good if not maybe better and their pricing is comparable if not better.Get your drink on and get drunk, bitches.Sláinte!

This place is a trip. The layout is sort of like the liquore wholesale places I see in California's larger cities and I know you can get kegs and pony kegs there. A lot of the local spanish-speaking locals hit this place asfter work to get their beer, so it is definately filled with local color. The prices tend to be mid-range for the beer and liquor and they do carry some mixes that you don't see at the smaller stores like Owl's Liquor or the mega marts like Walgreens. The staff is knowledgable and friendly and I *believe* that on either Friday or Saturday afternoons, they even do wine tasting.Note that they close by 8:00pm, so this isn't a late-night liquor destination... But in a town that shuts down by 9:00pm on any given day, that's not suprising.

I'm a local. I cannot believe anyone would give more than ZERO stars to this liquor store. I don't buy liquor often. I bought some today so I could make some tinctures. Well known brand, Everclear, 1.75 liters was priced at $49. I thought, wow pricey! But bought it anyway because I was in a hurry and wanted to make some extracts and I had no clue what it should've cost. When I got home I checked online. I could've gotten it for $36 at a larger, much better maintained store a few blocks away. Kelly Liquors is not only overcharging, but their store is not well lit, unorganized, and gives a feel of dirtiness. The clerk was also eating and talking at the checkout counter without his mask on. I would not have mentioned this except I was not the only one nearby, and there is a pandemic going on. Absolutely not going back.

At kelly by the Santa fe place mall. I had a hard to understand & frustrating experience. I went to purchase 2 Arnald Palmer hard teas which in most stores.! or the majority of the stors! Are priced at 2 for $5. Well the cashier would not give me that price he wanted to charge me $299 each as if it we're up to him on what they should cost or sell for he is not the one or have any Authority to be pricing alcohol out of his store I believe it is a manufacturer or the distributor two decide on how much they're going to sell them for. Well horrible experience he acted like he's the one that made please Arnold Palmer teas and with that said. He's wanting to price them at his own price whatever he wants to price them at. Or at his own convenience and getting over on people. He's basically robbing people!
