Keller's Farm Store

we shop here at least once a month and buy in bulk lol. our favorites are their beef and chicken. we also love the spicy crabcakes! staff is incredible. they will cut meat any way you want. they will even take the rib rack skin off. yay! A butcher is a buyer's experience. you're not buying plastif meat on plastic trays. you will taste the difference. I challenge you to a lb of ground beef and a chicken breast. try them then decide how long you can wait to go back lol. love you guys!

I have shopped at Keller's farm store for many years. I first became acquainted with them several years ago when I was doing a radio talk show and they were a sponsor on the station. I had the opportunity of doing a commercial for them. However, it was always my policy to never do a commercial unless I visited the sponsor first and tried the product or service for myself. I tried many of Keller's products over the years and was thoroughly impressed.They are an independent grocery store owned and operated by a small family who takes their business very seriously. One year, I orderd a prime rib that was so tender, I barely needed a knife. Another time, I got a Thanksgiving turkey. What pleased me the most is their meat products have no chemicals or preservatives in them. They also offered a number of house-made products.Everything was and STILL IS FRESH and of the highest quality.They Pride themselves on doing that.You can't go wrong at Keller's.I highly recommend them . Patronized Kellers again in early May 23 and wondered why I had not made the trip more often from Santa Fe. I am going to rectify that going forward.They just have some of the best meats - fresh and cured - available anywhere, as well as quality coffees, marinades, spices, pastas, pasta sauces. Kellers is without reservation my fav grocery store in NM. It is hard to offhand think of any food item not available here that is available in the large chain stores. And the produce is superior.

We go here about once a month and stock up on chicken and pork mostly that goes into the freezer. Their meats are generally noticeably tastier than what you get at regular big box grocery store. Staff is fairly friendly. The butchers are knowledgeable. We are glad to have them here on the west side, especially on the holidays.

It's a nice store and is well organized. They do have fresh meats and the prices seem reasonable. On my initial (and only visit to date) I found the packaged shelf items to be quite expensive. I would say the prices are in line with those of Whole Foods - which is out of my price range. I did pick up on item on sale - a shampoo. I would come and browse again but I can't afford to be a regular customer. With that said, I applaud independent grocers and I can appreciate that they have to charge a bit more than chains like WF.

tried both stores on the same day just to see if things are equal.Clearly this is not the kellers of old.just the next badly run business to fold

My father had been a customer of Keller's since the 1970's when he introduced me to them in 2011 when I moved here. I patronized Kellers for 10+ years while living here. I've been gone now since 2021 but Keller's was first on my list while visiting as we were wanting some good ribeyes for dinner. How disappointed we were. After standing in line at the meat counter and staff deliberately ignoring us and assisting 3 customers who arrived after we did, we finally walked out. The meat selections and quality definitely does not to seem be what it had been and you would think staff would be eager to have the business but I guess not.

I will not name restaurants. last couple of months, my pickup orders, the food has overflowing with salt. It's become very costly for me! I've had to throw my food in the trash. In the past, most restaurants did not salt their food because individuals salted their food before they eat, I'm not one of them. But my God, these have been different restaurants ,well known ,your food has become horrible!! I will tell my friends,just save them money! I hope there's no next time! I don't have to name them on Yelp.! Thank you

Just before Thanksgiving a woman behind the meat counter was extremely rude claimed I would only be leaving the store with one Turkey then said I had ordered three. I ordered two. There is more to the story but I don't have all day to write. I'm a big fan of local and small business, especially regarding food. I have been going to Keller's for years, I won't be going any longer.

Why does it smell so funky in this location ? Is kind of disturbing.... The other store seems cleaner.
