John worked on my Taylor 314ce first, repairing a separated bridge. Excellent results, better than when it was brand new! So I took my 85' 12 string Takamine in for a neck adjustment and set up. Again better than brand new. Highly recommended for any of your luthier needs.

Wow John was a great find that I will recommend to all my guitar-playing friends. I love my guitar (thank you for the ultimate gift, David!) so I was really concerned when my bridge started to lift up. It had been fixed probably 18 or 20 years ago but that repair guy was gone. I had to rely on Yelp and (sorry) google reviews to find help. I found it! I called John and explained my situation. He said to come right over so I'd did. He looked it over, diagnosed the problem, and gave me both a time estimate and what I thought was a very fair price Everything worked and now my guitar is playing perfectly (except for MY inabilities!). John is probably as much a woodworker as a luthier. His shop is amazing - you can see all the materials he needs to have on hand. And after chatting with him, he obviously loves his job. When I left his shop I nearly demanded to have some of his business cards because I wanted to be able to help out my many guitar playing friends when they need work on their instruments. This guy is great. I don't hand out compliments easily but this guy is who I wound recommend.

John adjusted the truss rods, bridge height, intonation etc. on both my vintage Strat and vintage Tele. What a difference it made. They are so much easier to play and sound great now.
