Kathy Breneman

We used Kathy Breneman for our mortgage broker and it was a disaster from the beginning. She did not produce the schedule of fees until almost right before the closing and the fees were very high - some of them were twice the cost of our fees from both the closings we had in Roswell. She wouldn't work with us to try to reduce a single fee. At that point it was either deal with it or start over with another lender. To be honest I wish we would have started over with another lender but we were already over 2 months in with this closing and we need to just close to start construction because she had already delayed the closing multiple times. Part of the issue was she had requested the same documents over and over to the point that we needed to resubmit them because the originals became "too old." We should have known she was a problem when she continued to ask for documents every few days over a few weeks instead of telling us everything she needed all at once like every other lender we had ever worked with. She blamed the delays on the builder and the title company, but once we spoke to them they told us their paperwork was in to her - so they were not the issue. When we continued to question her she became rude with us and was very unprofessional at that point. By the way - we were "pre-approved" with good credit, good jobs and income and no contingency because we had sold our house in Roswell already - and she told us our loan was complicated!!!!! DO NOT USE HER. STAY AWAY!!!!
