Kate Buckles photography was great to work with- straightforward communication and I enjoyed all the resources on the website to prepare and know what to expect. Sarah was our photographer after we had reschedule due to my being ill- she was fantastic! Professional and also friendly, patient with my wild toddler, and the photos turned out amazing! I can't believe she caught so many amazing shots of my kiddo!

We've worked with Kate since our little's new born photos! We have since had a few shoots, bringing our total to 4 (newborn, 1 yo, and 2 mini's) and no plan to leave her. Ever.She has a real personability about her, a calming demeanor that these littles just warm up to. She is unbelievably patient, in the newborn and toddler phase. Also- her work is phenomenal! We've loved every shoot; we've walked away with gratitude to capture such special moments in our family.Newborn, toddler, and/or family- Kate Buckles is the photographer to go with.

We had the pleasure of going to see Kate for our daughters newborn photo session. It went amazingly well. Kate was warm and welcoming and her studio was perfect. She has everything you need, so unless you want something special, it is easy to book and go! She is very talented and patient and can get super cute poses of your baby. She also did some family photos for us as well. I am so thankful and happy to have all the beautiful images she took. They will surely be treasured. Thanks Kate!!

Especially great at family and children's photography, and babies. Really appreciate the "mini sessions" that are affordable and with wonderful themes / background. Kate also captured our family during a reunion and was able to get us all in and looking good- including our pets. Not an easy thing and it went great, and she positioned us all so we looked great. Thanks for all you do to capture our family.

Had a great experience and she was supper flexible to us having to postpone our session a few times. She was great with my two year old and even held the baby so we could get some shots of just me and their dad. Very reasonably priced and lots of location options. Ended up with really nice quality pictures. Will definitely be going back here for all future photography needs!

Kate did a Wonderful job with our twins!! She took the time to find out what we wanted from our session, had tons of cute props and wraps, incorporated props we wanted, and captured the best photos of our babies! We will always cherish these photos and are so happy we chose Kate for our session! Also- she was so great with our babies and handled them with such care!

Kate is friendly and professional. She did a great job of asking questions before the session so that we would get exactly what we wanted out of it. She connected with each member of the family and produced a variety of poses and outdoor backgrounds in our chosen location. We are really happy with the photos she took for us. I recently had lifestyle photos done for my brand by Kate, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. I am not very comfortable in front of a camera and Kate made me feel comfortable, at ease, and we actually had a lot of fun during the shoot. I am so amazed at how the photos turned out, I have way more photos than I thought I would have that will be perfect for my website. I am grateful for Kate and her talent and I would highly recommend her to anyone in need of some professional photos by a friendly and caring professional.

First of all, Kate is a very lovely, kind woman, and it was a pleasure to work with her. However, her photography skills were sub-par. The lighting was off in many of our photos. In other photos, sun spots got on our faces and made the picture useless. She didn't do a good job choosing to do photos vertical or horizontal and cut my husband's head out of a photo that would have been a pretty good family photo had it been taken vertically (and there were several other awkward shots that would have been better the other direction). She's not intentional about the photos she takes. She just clicks and whatever she gets she gets. My son was smiling about 2/3 of the time she was capturing photos and she somehow only managed to get about 2 pictures of him smiling. On top of that she did not get any family pictures with him smiling. My biggest complaint is that at the beginning of the session we specially told her that we needed a vertical family picture to hang in the frame in our hallway. She only took a few vertical family pictures and didn't even check to make sure she had captured a good one. She had 20 minutes to capture just ONE good vertical family picture and she was negligent to provide what we had requested. Honestly, my iPhone set on a timer has captured better photos than we received from Kate Buckles. We don't see ourselves spending money on her photos again.
