Some 15 years ago I purchased the most beautiful ring of 14 carrot gold with 4 small diamonds and 6 inlayed opals. The ring initially cost several thousand dollars and rapidly became my wife's favorite and she wore it on a daily basis. For 15 years, the ring was perfect, and yet time took its toll and with a few of the opals cracking and falling out. We sent the ring back to Kabana for rejuvenation work and I picked the upper level opals for replacement. The ring was resized as well. The charge for this was $3800 yet I thought it was worth it, because of the beauty of the ring and it being my wife's favorite. I thought another 15 years would be a good trade, but this time she wore the ring not on a daily basis and certainly took it off for recreation and exercise as well. Seven months after receiving the ring, three out of the six opals chipped or were cracked with pieces falling out. I again sent the ring back to Kabana and this time they wanted $1900 to repair the ring. I made the point that it had lasted for 15 years initially and that the repair of seven months ago was obviously not the quality of the new ring and was faulty. Kabana refused to make any sort of concession and we're very poor communicators. I found this unacceptable to have to spend nearly $6000 in the space of seven months for the same repair. This lack of customer support has soured me on Kabana jewelry for sure. Why pay 3800$ if it doesn't get fixed correctly. I have thus decided that I have purchased my last piece of jewelry from Kabana and that their customer service and repair is not only substandard but willfully inadequate for a company with such a reputation as being a fine jeweler. In my opinion, Kabana has shot itself in the foot with poor customer service and communication, emails unanswered, and I would be very hesitant if I were a customer looking to purchase their jewelry now

My 72 year old Grandma retired there as an assistant supervisor making 12.50 an hour after 31 years, was always there and a trusted reliable employee but yet never received a Christmas bonus where others were given 1k-5k dollar bonuses, she covered others job reasonabilities when they were on salary and were constantly leaving to handle personal errands and was initially forced out with very little retirement(6-8k) and is now living on 1k a month social security, she should've been making at least 16 dollars an hour minimum after 31 years to compensate for the cost of living I am so disappointed to hear that this multi million dollar company takes advantage of their elderly employees this way.

Thought the rings were to be 18KT. Came in at 14KT. No itemized statement from store or shop where it was made. It goes back tomorrow and the incident is going viral tonight. I had my CC company call them to cancel at their store. Kelly answered phone. Said SOMEONE would call back. They never did. Bad, bad outfit. Very shady. Stay away from Kabana and their affiliate stores.
