As locals, it was our first time to dine at Julia's - and it was horrible. We were required to eat off a bar-type menu for dinner. Salads, sandwiches, fries, Mac n Cheese, etc. One of our guests did have had a "meat dish" that had meat glue included to form a "steak". Staff was friendly, but food and menu selection were horrific.

Incredible patio dining, appropriately distanced & sanitized (red Chile for seated, green Chile for cleaned & ready!) at the La Posada.. Luis was impeccable, safe, masked, & courteous... wish staff mgmt would recommend this spot on the patio first over other local restaurants.

This restaurant was extremely rude, and unprofessional as we attempted to eat Christmas dinner...they asked if we had reservations... We replied no, they stated were booked for the entire night... Only two tables had customers... We went outside and called the restaurant and proceeded to ask to make reservations... They said oh yes, we room for two guest ... This was a less than a minute time span... we explained we just left the restaurant and what we were told... She didn't have a reply...

The presentation of the food is great, but the flavors just aren't there. It's way overpriced for what you get. $50 for a breakfast burrito and classing egg breakfast is far too much. $4 for a side of chile in Santa Fe, NM? No chile included on breakfast burrito? Seriously? The wait staff is friendly and attentive. The ambience is a bit strange. Obviously the building is old, but so is every other building downtown. Others manage to feel comfortable, but this feels cheap. The cheap cover band music playing on a loop everyday doesn't help either.

I really think this property has such great potential. It's so very southwestern and it's style. Unfortunately, everything I had at this restaurant was verging on inedible. There was so much salt I couldn't finish the flat bread nor the grain bowl. I had told them I needed something to clear the salt from my palate for dessert. He recommended flan. Again, so salty that I had one bite and left it. Even the 15 and $16 drinks were terrible. They seemed like something different than what I had ordered. I would never go back again. As someone with 100 Marriott stays a year, I always try to stick to the best Marriott properties. This restaurant is a definite deterrent.

Stayed at La Posada for my wife's birthday. Asked if this famous restaurant was open and was told yes by the front desk. That night for her birthday we went to eat there. Nobody told us it was only bar food and that the actual menu and restaurant was closed. The prices for what we got was horrible. Thank god Geronimo's was open and running as the 5 star restaurant it is known for. We ate there the next night and forgot about Julia's. Don't waste your great visit to Santa Fe. Eat at a real restaurant.

Shanahan is an amazing bartender and conversationalist! His drinks are spot on! If your going to Santa Fe, hit the downstairs bar at LaPosada and try his drinks! You will not be disappointed!
