Juanita's Comida Mexicana

Loved finding this locally owned restaurant near the airport for lunch. The food was delicious and the service very friendly.

Que Sabrosura! This place is the real deal...it's Iike eating at grandma's...got a ground beef taco plate & fideo/ tortilla. Both were soo tasty...Amazing!! It came with chips & salsa...the chips seem homemade & not salty...salsa is very delicious & seasoned well with a little spice!!! I'll become a regular for sure!

Maybe I'm a bit harsh I don't know... I came here because I was told it would taste like authentic Mexican food. Not New Mexican because that's a different flavor but Mexican the kind you get when you go to your abuelitas house. I was kind of disappointed. I went in for lunch and only had my debit card but the minimum to use it is $10 so there was that.. I ordered the shredded chicken torta which comes with lettuce, slice of tomato, slice of kraft cheese and avocado. It was ok not a lot of flavor in the chicken or anything else. Thankfully they added a small cup of green Chile salsa which I'm assuming was intended for my chicken burrito. That's all this was shredded chicken rolled in a flour tortilla with no additional seasoning or salsa. Even tho the menu said burrito smothered in salsa of choice... hmmm a tiny 2tbsp cup isn't exactly going to smother my burrito. Well this simple order took 20 mins to receive. So overall not my kind of food or place but i suppose it's always better to try it for yourself.

This place is amazing, hole on the wall. Food is delicious like mama's cooking. Service is amazing and fast. Highly recommended

My friend just brought me a Molè butrito from here. The flour tortilla was soft and thin but sturdy enough to withhold the mushy molè. The Molè was spicy but in my perspective not too spicy. It was nice and sweet too. Sweet and spicy is the best combination for Molè. The chicken was a bit dry, but still very enjoyable to eat. Its shredded so you wont need to chomp at it. It gets a 4 because I wasnt involved in the service they provide. I love spicy molè so if you do I 100% recommend.

This is one of my favorite places to eat when we go to New Mexico. The chili is amazing! I usually get the breakfast burrito smothered in red and green chili, my boyfriend gets the huevos rancheros Christmas style as well. The food is fresh and authentic! The atmosphere is not that great since it's a hole in the wall, but the food and Juanita's service makes up for that! With out a doubt you should stop here if your ever in Albuquerque!!

This place is a hidden gem! I'm never disappointed when I eat something from here! If you haven't tried this place and you're in Albuquerque, you NEED to try ASAP. Don't even think about forgetting the chips and salsa - you're welcome in advance

Sure the beans are a tad watery but the flavors of everything are amazing. We had the three tacos plate and the cheese enchiladas...they were delicious and we devoured them without stopping to breathe. The tortillas must be homemade! The salsa is unique with a spicy kick and the chips are phenomenal. Loved this place and if we lived in New Mexico, we'd sure visit again.

Juanita's is classic home cooking. Absolutely delicious beans, papas, chile and flour tortillas. Hole in the wall charm, no pretense.

Friendly, authentic and DELICIOUS! We took breakfast burritos to go and they were great. Give this place a try!
