Josh's Lock & Key

This is not a jibe against the company. I was however, a bit confused by Yelp and the internet as to this business. All I needed were keys made, I didn't realize this was run out of a residential home, and directions from Yelp and from the internet were confusing, and iphone mapping turned me around for several minutes leading to disappointment, so I went to Ace Hardware close by, and 5 minutes later I had what I needed.I'm sure if I need a future "house call" this company would satisfy our needs!

No complaints. We were able to go to him, same day. It took less than 20 mins. He gave us a spare key and reprogrammed some of our old ones. This was our second time using his services. Will look him up again for future needs.

He's found a repeat customer! He stayed patiently through setting up my schlage connect to even though it took longer then he expected. On top of that same day service after business hours.. you just can't get that everywhere. This is why I support local business over the big corps, they just don't value there jobs like this.

We just purchased a new home and needed some locks changed and some rekeyed. Scott was pleasant on the phone and on time. He did everything professionally and with a smile. When he was done we checked everything and it was great! The price for 10 locks was more reasonable to other quotes I received. He cleaned up everything when he left too. I would recommend Josh's Lock And Key to everyone! He even mentioned they do locks for vehicles too if you need that. Thanks for the amazing service and a great job!

Worst owner of a business other than Angelo at Rio Rancho tint. I called to to replace my lock at my house. I was given to different prices by Josh and his buddy Scott. Well the lock became real loose after few weeks and he didn't want to warranty the 100 lock that I paid for. Then Josh tells me most people can change their own locks!!! Most businesses owners don't talk down to customers. Stay away. Call pop a lock !!!!!

Bought multiple keys and a remote for my 2011 Ford mustang when someone had stolen my keys from the mall on June 14th or 15th. About two weeks ago the remote stopped working and I called yesterday to see if they would fix or replace the remote and Josh let me know they have no warranty on the remotes and assumed it was from water damage. Bad customer service! Needless to say my remote still doesn't work but they said they would happy to replace the remote for an additional 35! Right! Cheep remote!

Best experience with a locksmith I've had. Lost auto keys abroad and called Josh to see if he could meet us late evening, at the airport, and he was more than accommodating after multiple flight delays. Great guy, great price, great service.

Josh is awesome. Go to for all your car transponder key needs. Better priced than anyone else.

Last week, the third worst thing that happened to me was that I locked myself out of my house. I called Josh's Lock & Key, and was helped by Scott, a locksmith who called back immediately, showed up when promised, and got me back into my house within minutes.The company gets four stars instead of five because my call was handled by voicemail. A person locked out of his house on a day with triple-digit temps does not want to get a machine when he calls for help.Otherwise great! Would recommend. If you call and get voicemail, go ahead and leave a message. Scott called back before I was done leaving mine.
