Jones Mechanical

Jones mechanical has taken care of several urgent calls at an apartment I own. He they have responded quickly and are great with my tenets. Also, I trust them to show up when they say they will which is important when tenants expect a quick response. They also ran a new gas line for me and I greatly appreciate that Scott was very clear about code requirements and told me that he would not do the job the way another plumber said he would do it to save me money. Ironically, Scott's price was the same as the bargain plumber and my job was done right.

Installed a Swamp cooler a few years ago, and just did some plumbing for us in our bathroom, which required cutting thru a wall to access the piping. Excellent work. Great company, professional, fast, very reasonable. The only one we'll call for work we can't handle ourselves

Scott and his technician replaced one of my swamp coolers and did a phenomenal job. Great communication from both the office and Scott, the company owner. Very professional and fair/honest pricing. Being new to the Albuquerque area, I shopped around and contacted multiple HVAC companies of different sizes. I narrowed it down to six and received a visit and bid from each. The largest companies were extremely overpriced with inflated rates and could not answer me on the direct costs of the units. Some vendors tried to up-sell me. In the end, Jones Mechanical and one other were in the top 2. I chose Jones because of their customer service through the process, and I'm so pleased that I did!!

After calling around to all of the local plumbing companies, Scott from Jones Mechanical was the only one to offer a reasonable price on a hot water heater. I appreciate the quick response, easy scheduling, and friendly service. I will continue to use Jones Mechanical for future plumbing problems.

Scott and his apprentice did an amazing job! He needed to remove a 2x2 piece of foundation out of our livingroom to access the leak at foundation level. Repaired all pipes, cleaned up mess, repoured concrete. Fair price, licensed, same day fair and respectful. Cannot say enough good things about this company!

Fixed a leak on my main line. Required some digging! Really pleased with how this business operates. Very quick to respond to phone calls, appointment scheduled super quick! Expectations were set early and met. Nothing but good things to say about Jones mechanical

Cost me $160 for zero work. This guy is super slow and very long winded. Came over the house to diagnose three problems. After telling me he could not replace a water heater, what kind of plumber doesn't do this seemingly easy task, I showed him two other problems which he spent way too much time looking at. My time is more valuable than wasting it listening to him over explain about how hard the job would be. Then he quoted $475 to replace a faucet and strainer. I told him I would get someone else to do the job and was quoted $275 to do the same work. Incompetent

The employee who showed up to do the repair was polite and professional. However, he was misinformed on the job, through no fault of his own, by higher up employees. At the finish of the job, which was a 2 hour job, the owner (Scott) tried to bill us double what was quoted, and about 4 times what it should have been. He tried to play the "we showed up on Sunday afternoon" ploy, but it was *them* that suggested Sunday. I was fine with any other day of the week, plus we'd been told there would be no extra charge. When I mentioned the going rate of plumbers being about $60 an hour, the haughty owner told me "I am not a $60 an hour plumber!" In other words, they suggested Sunday afternoon, then tried to bill me $200 an hour. Shady...and because of the owner only, I will never hire them again, and would advise others to find a different plumber.
