Unfortunately this is what happens when original owners sell. Our server was polite and food came out fast. I ordered southwestern chicken Alfredo. The sauce although tasted decent but it just tasted like regular sauce nothing that made it stand out like it used to. Chicken was bland sadly! Won't come back.

After loving Joe's for more than a decade, it is with great sadness that I have to downgrade my previous 4 star to 2.5, rounded down. The atmosphere is no longer the kitschy Italian, dim but comfortable "traditional" US Italian restaurant. It is now much lighter and brighter. While this is great for my aging eyes to read the menu, it just ruined the ambiance I'd grown so used too. The service was good, not quite up to the attentive staff of before, but still ok. The food. It just isn't close to what it was. 12 years ago I swore I'd never consider the Olive Garden again. Sadly, I can't say that any longer. We will be looking for a different traditional Italian spot. I hope things turn back around, it's sad when a business you loved sells and changes so dramatically for the worse.

So, I had a bad experience a few years back with a to go order... Having a discount promotion that wasn't honored during time of pick up.... That said, I've gone back many times and every time it's been a great experience. Last night was a perfect example of this. For 40 bucks you get a huge container of spaghetti and meatballs, an amazing salad, a loaf of bread and enough condiments to feed an army. Not only do they give you a lot of food, which is delicious, but they package it in a way that is unlike any other restaurant or to go experience that I've ever had here in town. That little extra touch speaks volumes about how much they care about their customer... Just in my opinion :-) well done!!!

Joe's Pasta House has always been a solid restaurant for Italian food. It's one of my husband and I's go-to spots if we are in the area! The service is always great and we've tried different dishes every time we go, none has disappointed us.

The food here is consistently good. I just love their lasagna and I have had lasagna on the brain all week, and too lazy to make some at home. Such a production. The meatball and tortellini soup with wilted fresh spinach is always a winner. The order of spaghetti and meatballs was huge and 1/2 went home. We each got a chocolate chip cannoli to go. It will be devoured later, as I am so full now. Always like the bruschetta and fresh bread and took home the few recipes slices of that too. Our server was efficient. A second glass, a refill, of lemonade was ordered and we were charged $6.00 extra for that. I thought refills were complimentary. I guess not. When I have a lasagna craving, we will be back.

4.5 stars Oh, so good. I normally don't come to this side of town, but I've been wanting to try Joe's for some time now. We came on a weekday, not too crowded at first. The outside looks unassuming, but don't let that fool you. We were seated near the fireplace. Our server was friendly and food came out quickly (and hot too!). While we were waiting, we got complimentary bread and olive oil (so good). I got the shrimp parmesan and my friend got the chicken alfredo, which both were heaping portions. The shrimp parmesan came with about 9 breaded jumbo shrimp with a heaping portion of spaghetti on the side ($22)- just enough for another meal. We finished off by splitting a cannoli- the filling more on a viscous side, but could taste the hints of orange coming through. 2024 #36

I do not recommend the Weekend Special - Chicken Ravioli. We love Joes Pasta House. Their traditional menu items are all wonderful. I looked forward to having one of my favorites. The server really worked hard to sell the weekend special - Chicken Ravioli with red pepper cream sauce. He said it was very good so I tried it. I wish I hadn't listened. For $22, I got 5 raviolis that were tasteless, a tiny bit of chicken and a salad. I am still hungry! Never again will I try anything new at Joes. I told the server that I didn't care for his recommendation and he walked away!

First, our server was amazing. April was knowledgeable and very efficient. Her recommendations for my entree was yummy. Can't remember the name, but it was penne, chicken, spinach and mushrooms in a garlic butter sauce. Second, the restaurant was clean and quiet. My Italian Margarita and the lemoncello cake was a great ending to the dinner. If you want great service, ask for April.

On 2/18/25, my wife and I decided to give Joe's another try after a 1.5-year break. Our hiatus was due to a noticeable decline in service after the restaurant changed ownership. Previous attempts to return had been disappointing, but we hoped for improvement. We arrived just after 5 PM and immediately noticed an unpleasant odor in the lobby--not sewer, but certainly not the inviting aroma of Italian herbs and spices. After about two minutes, a young hostess greeted us with a curt "How many?" instead of a warm welcome. This was our first sign that service hadn't improved. We were seated at a table for two by the fireplace, where the hostess casually tossed the menus onto the table before walking away--another red flag. My wife and I exchanged glances, both thinking, "Wow."After more than five minutes of waiting (I kept track while checking my insulin pump), our waiter finally arrived. He never introduced himself, just stood there silently staring at my wife as she looked at the menu. When we placed our order, he walked off without saying a word. We were both in shock.Thankfully, the food was just as good as we remembered--no complaints there. However, as we ate, we overheard another table being greeted by a waitress named Faith. She introduced herself warmly and immediately asked what she could get them started with--exactly the kind of service Joe's was once known for.We used to say other restaurants could learn from Joe's high service standards. Sadly, that's no longer the case. These days, I get better service at Stripes Burrito Company. Maybe I expect too much nowadays! Never again, Joe's.
