Jaramillo Vineyards

While driving back to Santa Fe from southern New Mexico, we happened upon a listing for a wine tasting room in Belen.This was a worthy stop. It was Sunday evening and we rolled in about an hour before closing. There was a small group of locals hanging out. We ordered our tasting flights and were advised to grab some snacks from the table nearby. There were some fruits, veg, crackers, cheese and the most wonderful bread. The bread, we later found out, was made by one of the farmers who was hanging out for the evening with his wife. We complimented his bread making skills.The wines were delicious! I tried the 2023 Riesling, Petit Verdot Rosé, Desert Rose, Rio Abajo Red and the 2021 Norton. I am not normally a sweet wine person, but the Riesling and Desert Rose were delicious. We ended up purchasing a bottle of the Norton to take home and glasses were included with the tasting.We felt welcomed and enjoyed our conversation with the folks that were there.

We were really surprised at what a great little wine tasting room we found here in Belen! The wine was good and reasonably priced. You get 5 tastes and can pick any of their wines to try. We liked it enough that we became wine club members. They have some good benefits for members. The service was good and we really enjoyed the patrons. If you enjoy wine and like getting out for tastings, would recommend trying this place.

The wife and I are regulars at the wine festivals...and we have tasted Jaramillo's but we had to try the rest of their wines! So we took a drove down to Belen, and we were not disappointed! The taste room is small and quaint, but modern in feel. We sat at the bar and started our tasting! The owner and vintner's wife was our helper and she was an awesome help! It was great to hear the stories of the wines... the personal stories that accompany Their winery! She made our day! We tried almost every wine, and found some new ones! Their Tempranillo Reserve is my new fave! We will definitely be back! Flock!

In Belen on business. Everyone said oh there is nothing to do there. Well don't listen to the naysayers! Found this lovely winery tasting room with a great aviation theme. I tried 6 or 8 different wines all across the palette and every single one was good. "I don't like wine," well they have beer as well! So get out and try some wine!

Great little joint in a developing area of Belen. I used to just drive by and maybe stop for gas but this cute area my turn into a frequent day trip for us. We did a wine sample of 6 different wines and were give a souvenir glass to boot for $10. All wines were very good.

Really enjoyed the service & wine tasting. The owners are so pleasant. Easy parking :-) Easy to drive to, as well.

LOVE this hidden gem. The Tempranillo Reserve is absolutely delicious. Great place to sip, read, relax and meet new people.

Visited the tasting room on a Sunday. This is a hidden treasure, a couple of people in attendance and various wines to try. Barb was absoluetly amazing with her knowledge as we are beginners and after a few that we had chosen, she recommended a couple. Barb's choices were better :) Fabulous women. We will be back!

We got there at a bad time because there was a huge group that showed up all at once. But the lady did her best to get all of them tastings and to wait on us with grace. Really nice place and some good wine.
