Under Principal Christy Sigmon's "leadership" of 6+ years, students at this school have consistently scored at the very rock bottom of all schools in New Mexico, receiving a grade of F on the latest NMPED 2018 rankings (2019 rankings come out fall 2019 for the 18-19 school year). Student achievement has worsened from D to F since she came to her position. In 2018 rankings, just 2% of students read at grade level. The school scored in the bottom 5% of all NM Title 1 schools, and has been targeted as needing level two NMPED intervention. Clearly Sigmon's record shows her to be a vastly overrated educator with friends in APS administration.
