Do NOT GO INSIDE if you have any RESPIRATORY ISSUES. They burn strong incense in the store. I didn't get more than 20 feet in the door and began coughing. I was hoping toescape the smoke, but it is throughout the store and after 3 minutes I left with a sudden onset headache. Awful!! Too bad as is is an intriguing store. But I won't risk my health for curiosity's sake.

4/2023:DEFINITELY HIGHLY RECOMMEND ***Ask for Military or Senior Discount (of course show your ID)***Let's begin with outstanding customer service. I absolutely love Jackalope! It was my first time at the San Mateo location. The store's selection did not disappoint at all. It far exceeded any expectation I had: so many New Mexican items/products can be found! I went in looking for 2 particular pots to put my plants in, and the selection is massive. I immediately found those beautiful planters, but then I started seeing many other items for my house. I will absolutely be returning to Jackalope! Enjoy your Jackalope shopping experience.

Looking for odd, eclectic or just different? Stop in here. After passing this place up for years and telling ourselves we need to stop, we finally did. It looks like a lot when driving by but the street view is only a small part. It has oversized vases, metal yard art, chimneas and wall hangings - then you go inside. It's stuffed floor to rafters in more decorative pieces, artwork, rugs and furniture. It seemed like every little nook & cranny was filled. The possibilities are limited only by your space and wallet. There was quite a bit of seasonal stuff on display to decorate your tree and interior for Christmas. Next trip will be truck & money. Last little bonus - prices were reasonable!

Stopped here on our way through town before continuing our road trip. Some cool stuff although crazy over priced. We couldn't get anything we wanted since our car is packed from emptying a family home and they don't ship. Wouldn't go back.

Oh my gosh! This is one of the most amazing place that is everything good about New Mexico decor. I love all the colorful woven baskets, pottery, rugs, wall hangings, furniture, metal work, flowers and flower pots, and more! It is splashes of color everywhere catching your eye. I want to bring the whole store home with me. I need to go back again soon because I need more bric-a-brac to jazz up my house. This should be a must stop place when in Albuquerque.

The garden shop is great for flowering annuals and perennials- healthy and well card for- grasses too, some containerized deciduous and evergreen trees and shrubs, bagged soil and mulch- lots of parking, long hours, open on Sunday, staff can change sometimes, but they are always couteous.. My new go-to to include on my rounds for plants in Santa Fe.

A wide selection of local and eclectic furnishings. From the outside, we were afraid it was going to be touristy or too kitschy; some of it was, but most would be for real people decorating their homes. The bigger furniture in the back room was gorgeous and I wanted to move in and forget my own house.
