First off I will say that I absolutely love this golf course. I like the layout and the challenge of it...when it is in good shape. The problem is that they cannot seem to keep the course in good condition. Last year it seemed to be in pretty good shape with a few rough spots but in the NM desert that is expected. The key though is the greens and I am not sure what is happening but it seems now every time I play the greens are burnt up with damage and it turns into putting on hard clay instead of a nice putting surface. If they could maintain the course from year to year instead of constantly reverting I think the course would be one of the best in the area. Now, I do understand with fungi and other challenges it makes it difficult but if other courses in the area can maintain, perhaps Isleta should be as well.

Don't play this place! Lots of $ and BAD service from the grumpy lady in the pro shop! The driving range is good but the greens are sub par really bad! I understand that there is a drought, I play many NM courses and the greens here aren't even close to ok ! Don't waste your $ there are many better in the area. Trust me if you go the lady in the not so pro shop is unbelievably rude!

Relaxed place to spend the evening in the summer or the afternoon. The driving range pass is the way to go!

First thing was the native american girl in the pro shop. Completely unfriendly; we asked how the course was, since we hadn't played there in a long time; she replied that she didn't know, she doesn't work on the weekend, this was on a Mon., made no sense, but she couldn't have cared less that we were there to play. The restaurant/ bar is really nice. The 2 people that worked there were very nice. Had a breakfast sandwich that was tasty and had some really good margaritas afterwards. The course was in O.K. shape for Feb. It was a pretty good buy for $30. The girl in the pro shop shouldn't be allowed to talk to customers.

This has got to be the worse golf course I have played in Albuquerque. The staff is very bad. They could care less that I was out there to play. On the weekend no senior rate. Cost the same whether I was walking or riding. The greens were like putting on the fairways. They were very slow and probably would not hold a bowling ball dropped at 100ft. There were tee boxes that were no better than my front yard and my front yard does not have any grass since I live in the desert. They where watering the course in the middle of the day so we had to dodge the sprinklers and where they had them off there was water that was going over your golf shoes. They must get their water free because they were watering the heck out of the course. After we got done we went into the bar area to get a beer. The bar was closed and the person at the snack bar was either asleep or was doing some heavy thinking. It appeared that we are not the only people that feel this way about the course because this was on a Sunday at 9am in the morning which seems to be their busy time according to Google, and the parking lot was maybe 20% full.So if you are looking for a place to play golf look somewhere else. I would not even go out there if they gave me a free round..

Find another course to play. Course conditions are completely unacceptable. Burned out greens and fairways in May. Things can only go down hill from here. Played on Mother's day. Even with free golf for Mom's, they couldn't attract a crowd. Spend your $ somewhere, anywhere else.

This is a zero star review. Avoid this place. Rude staff, amateur groundskeeping, and poor management. The staff tried to tell me 2 hours, 50 minutes is an acceptable 9 hole time. When promised a "rain check" for the back 9, it was then rescinded and I was called "belligerent." Im lucky I was just passing through for business and will never play here again. You should not either.

Extremely disappointed!!! I was treated extremely poorly. I have never been treated this bad at any other golf course I have played!! Tee time was at 2 and there were 14 people in front of me. Teed off 30 minutes late and only got in 6 holes in 3 hours. When I asked for my money back for the back 9 I was told that I was not expected to completed 18 holes at twilight! I cannot believe I wasted my hard earned money at this place. I will spend my money at other courses in this area but I will NEVER spend it again at Isleta...Save your $$$$

Save your gas money and spend your green fee somewhere else!! This course is in terrible condition! The greens are half dead and some are lightning fast, others are incredibly slow! Also don't play slow even if there are no other golfers behind you, had the Marshall come and tell our group to speed up even though we saw no other golfers anywhere behind us! Customer service was terrible when I told the guys inside the pro shop they basically said to bad we don't care! People spend good money to play golf and if you don't want to waste your money go somewhere else!
