I was looking for unique wedding jewelry, and this store delivered. My wife and I have been to this store many times. We are torn about how lovely the jewelry was, but Luis never listened to us (we never saw any other staff that might be more consumer friendly).We gave him a price point and he constantly tried to push our budget way over and wanting us to buy more than one ring (what person needs multiple wedding bands??) He interrupted us when we tried talking to one another. He treated me like I didn't know anything about jewelry or 'what I really wanted'. We were always so anxious when we left his shop. The jewelry is phenomenal, but we never want to go back. If Luis hired someone more friendly and that listened, we would consider going back.

Amazing.Take this store, transplant it to a major city anywhere in the U.S., and you've got a top jewelry shop.An absolutely mind blowing array of hand crafted pieces of jewelry that must be seen. I have been to many places in my lucky life, but have seen very few establishments that can match the level of selection and design that is held here. The first thing I thought was that my sister would love to see this place (and would no doubt buy something). If you appreciate jewelry or art in any form, you absolutely have to go see this place. One of a kind!

At IMEC you can expect to find new and contemporary items that are perfect for your high-fashion friend. They also have amazing sales for the not high-fashion budget. The staff is very helpful in telling you how the pieces were made and were they came from. Perfect place to find the perfect wedding band!

IMEC is an amazing little jewelry store with amazing designs. Everything is absolutely stunning! They specialize in very unique pieces from minimalistic to very ornate. My favorite was a diamond ring with the diamond suspended in a sphere of glass. Everything here is upscale and very nice. If you want a piece of artwork unlike no other to wear, you're in the right spot. All of the employees were very nice and helpful. They are constantly getting new pieces in so I will definitely be back.

It's probably a sad commentary on me, but I get super excited about beautiful jewelry. I have tended to keep myself under some control and I don't just buy every pretty thing that I come across, I wait for the stuff that really speaks to my soul. Over the years, when I go into IMEC, I am blown away by all the things that speak to my soul. It's seriously a dangerous place, the jewelry is unique and modern. I recently was wandering by and walked in, it's a little like a vacuum and it sucked me in, and then I found the most amazing flower earrings. They totally spoke to my soul and now they help me hear things :o)

I need to make more money so I can feed my jewelry habit. When that happens, I will be taking a trip to this sweet shop. They carry beautiful, whimsical, modern and very unique designs. We found my engagement ring here - on the first shopping trip., so totally meant to be. Pieces can be found in a wide variety of price ranges, so don't be shy about going in if you aren't loaded. :)

Modern jewelryNot a place for your grandmaThis place has true art(THE BEST place to shop for jewelry in ABQ if you're into new, modern stuff. They have jewelry from cutting-edge designers, and the staff actually know what the hell they are talking about. Just say NO to boring, standard jewelry. You're not 80 years old, so you shouldn't be buying jewelry made for an 80 year old. Do yourself a favor and check this place out. Highly recommended.)

Simply a awesome place. If you want unique cool artistic pieces this is the only place to go (in Abq anyway)! Been in business 20 years. I bought my wife's wedding ring here 15 years ago and continues to. Be her favorite piece and gets lots of compliments on it. I continue to go back and am continually impressed with what they find and bring in. Something for all price ranges and the owner, Luis, is extremely helpful with zero pressure. Just a great experience.

I bought a beautiful pair of leather earrings here. the jewelry is beautiful and well priced. the guy who was working there was extremely friendly. if you love interesting, handmade artistic jewelry, visit this store!
