Indian Pueblo Kitchen has one of the most unique menus I've ever come across, and it was the perfect introduction to Indigenous foods. My friend and I walked in on a weekend afternoon after visiting the cultural center, and the restaurant had a steady stream of patrons; however, staff made us feel welcomed and were very hospitable.I asked for a recommendation on the Zia Sodas, which are made and bottled in New Mexico. Our server suggested the prickly pear cactus, and it was light, floral, and sweet. I tried finding these sodas in nearby grocery stores, but couldn't so I would highly recommend if you're interested in trying local products! For lunch, my friend and I decided to share an Indian Taco (sub ground lamb) and a trio of soups called Taste of the Pueblos. The Indian Taco was a stand out, and ground lamb is the way to go. The fry bread was soft and airy, but strong enough to hold up the loaded toppings. The Green Chile Pork was our favorite soup, and I was impressed with the depth of flavor accomplished while using simple ingredients. I'd highly recommend Indian Pueblo Kitchen if you're local or visiting. It's a great place to enjoy a casual, Indian/ New Mexican meal, and they are currently expanding to open a restaurant within the Albuquerque International Sunport!

Somewhat inconvenient to access and maybe not worth the trouble. The parking lots are goofy. The entrances are . . . not where signage would indicate. I've noticed a lot of reviewers commenting on what they consider to be a novel menu but I think they bought the con: my experience was that this menu was pretty standard local fare - but not in any way the best. The food is good enough but not great, portioned reasonably well but not so well as to make it a value. Yeah, the keenly promoted "superfood" blue corn pancakes with piñon were neat, but more expensive and not as interesting as those at a popular place across town (that also includes green chile and cheese in their cakes). Service was professional if not especially friendly, and got kind of thin as the lunch rush progressed. The room was pretty but finished in such a way that it became remarkably loud. Be aware that posted signs announce that concealed carry is not allowed on the site regardless of licensure.

The Indian Pueblo Kitchen located in the Pueblo museum has an amazing variety of native foods, as well as some traditional Mexican-American dishes. The fry bread was exactly what I expected, and was the perfect wrapping for my hamburger. The decor is exactly what would be expected, with comfortable seating in an appropriately themed setting. I was seated immediately for lunch, and my server was amazingly polite, prompt, and attentive without being annoyingly intrusive. I look forward to my next visit to Albuquerque, just so I can come back for another great meal.

We honestly came here because I wanted the onion rings. They were overall pretty good so I'm not disappointed with my decision - some of the smaller ones were a little over-fried for my taste, but the larger ones had a good flavor in the batter. My coworker and I both had the Indian fry tacos, he got chicken and I got ground beef. I had mine Christmas style - I far preferred the green chile as the red chile fell a little flat to me. The fry bread was delicious though and I'm really glad that I got an entree with that as a carb choice. All of the people we engaged with were super friendly; service was a little bit slow at the beginning but maybe that was just because I was super hungry. I'm glad we ended up making it over here to eat though and I'd recommend.

The food here was excellent! We had the prime rib with enchiladas and the prime rib dip. The fry bread is perfect and we'll definitely be back for Indian Tacos. Our server was friendly and helpful and the dining area has a beautiful design. Overall great experience and a must try for Albuquerque!

We ordered quite a few items from the menu and honestly, my favorite item was the Atole. Now this Atole is not the Mexican drink I am used to - this Atole was a porridge with nuts. It was hearty, healthy, and very flavorful. I craved It as soon as I finished it. The Pueblo kitchen is definitely a place worth checking out along with your trip to the museum.

Beautiful space! The Elk Chili with 3 blue corn muffins was tasty. I loved the Pueblo Benedict. The Monte Cristo was unique and a lot of food! The service was fantastic! Mom got a Pueblo Loaf and we got Pueblo pies to go. We will return.

Started with the soda, blue corn fried pickles and it sounds really weird but they were so delicious, just get them! I have mixed feeling because the Indian taco was awesome, but the chicken enchiladas were just ok. The atmosphere is casual, service was good. There's a giftshop right near by to kill time if you need to wait for a table. They also served alcohol which I was surprised.
