IL Encanto

I had to recently go to Santa Fe for a training and there was a location close by with food trucks. I love food trucks and thought it was a great opportunity to see what Santa Fe had to offer in the way of food trucks. I was glad I had made the decisions. The options were really great. The speed of getting the food was great. The food quality is great and and full of flavor. If I am going to be in the area again I will definitely be wanting to check out other items on the menu.

Really fresh ingredients on a perfect wood-fired crust... absolutely delicious! Everyone is super friendly, and our experience was top notch. If you're wary of food trucks, this one will win you over.

This food truck is located at the corner of Old Santa Fe trail and Paseo de Peralta.I want to preface by saying that I lived in NYC, and have eaten in Italy and I do know my Italian food.My wife and I moved here in December from Austin.This little truck has some of the best Italian food that I have ever enjoyed.Israel is an amazing chef and the whole crew there are wonderful.I love the #4, which is a creamy pesto pasta.All of their sauces are wonderful but this one is my favorite.They have home-made bread that is served with each meal that is always fresh and tasty and they also make salads, panini sandwiches and my Mrs loves the spaghetti bolognese.The food is so fresh and tasty and I highly recommend you try the truck for yourself.

The best Italian food around and the kindest service. Great for a vegatarian like me and for my meat-eating bloyfriend.

I actually stopped by the food trucks to pick up thai food for lunch today. While waiting for my Pad Thai from the food truck next to Il Encanto, I checked out Il Encantos menu. It looked delicious. I ended up ordering the #10 Panini sandwich. PETTO POLLO CON PESTO with Chicken, pesto mayonnaise, roasted red peppers, red onions artichoke hearts, and mozzarella cheese. YUM !! They make their own focaccia bread, and the sandwich was warm and DELICIOUS!! I ate it the minute I got to my car. It came with a side salad, and I chose the Cesare salad. That was also delicious with an ample amount of dressing which was probably also homemade. Not to mention, the 2 girls in the truck were so sweet and friendly. When talking with them, I noticed the even have a wood burning pizza oven in the truck!! Wow... I've already decided that I'm going back tomorrow to pick up 2 pizzas for dinner. Can't wait to try them, and I suspect they will be up to par to the sandwich I just ate!! I'm so happy to have stumbled on this place, and I am definitely going back!! Excellent find!!

With all of the food options in Santa Fe, it's surprising that the best pizza I have had is from this unassuming food truck. Nice crispy crust.
