When it comes to checking out all of the bakeries that Albuquerque has to offer, Ihatov should definitely be on your list.I will say they are one of the less sugary of bakery options, but for some, that is exactly what you're looking for. They do have a couple sweeter options as well as some savory pastries and bread. I decided to try the cinnamon and custard roll. I wasn't expecting it to have raisins, which isn't always my favorite, but they were pretty decent and I also had some pecans in it. They start serving sandwiches around 11 and have a very limited menu but everything sounded really good. I got an oat milk matcha. I personally like a sweet drink and so would recommend adding some sweetener to whatever you choose. I think they had a few options, including vanilla sweetener, or just general simple syrup.I will also know that there is relatively limited seating, especially during the colder months when the patio is closed.

Underwhelmed by the sourdough here. Tasted burnt and I have the lingering taste of char in my mouth. It overpowered the salmon or cream cheese on my bread. The drink is fine -- oat milk latte with simple syrup. The inside of this shop is small, much like the outside of it. Not coming back.

What a wonderful spot! Delicious fresh breads and pastries--favorites include the almond croissant and the custard pastry, both perfectly crispy. You can also ask for just a slice of toast; you'll be served whatever's on that day with butter and jam, perfect for a light nibble with your coffee. I'd like to try their sandwiches (served only around lunchtime) because there aren't that many choices. In my experience, that often helps the venue focus on the ingredients. Atmosphere is warm and friendly with regulars greeted by name. It's really worth stopping by; nothing like it on Nob Hill.

An absolute must if you're in Nob Hill! If I lived closer to this area I'm positive I'd be a frequent flyer here. Must try their breads and beverages. If you're a fan of carbs then this place is for you!

Great spot! I'm an avid coffee drinker and have given it up while being pregnant. Ihatov serves a great decaf latte. Pastries all seem delicious. I enjoyed a croissant that was the perfect match of soft and crunchy. This is also a good spot for remote work. WiFi connection was quite strong and the tables are pretty plentiful. Spots may fill up at times, but there is outdoor seating as well. If you need outlets, sit by the fireplace! On both ends of the fireplace there are 4 outlets to utilize.

This is a European style coffee shop with amazing croissant (ham and cheese for me) and a textbook Mocha. Such a lovely atmosphere and a wonderful selection of freshly baked breads. Class act.

Ihatov has hands down one of the best croissants in Albuquerque. It is perfectly made with airy fluffy layers and a crisp outside. It's fairly large for the price too!

Very cute shop but I was a bit underwhelmed by the food/drinks. Perhaps I'm just spoiled coming from a city with incredible coffee + pastry shops, but I found my morning glory muffin pretty dry, and the matcha latte tasted really weird to me, with minimal matcha flavor. Plus it was served in a glass that made it really hard to drink. But the outdoor seating is really nice and I love the concept, so it's a great option if you're in the area and just want to grab a pastry and drink, and sit outside with some friends to enjoy them.

Got a latte and a green chili croissant and both were pretty good. The croissant was fresh out of the oven and I'm not sure I've ever had a warm one. Turns out they're great, particularly when they're stuffed with cheese and green chili. I'd planned on saving it for breakfast the next day but you gotta eat it while it's warm.

I came here from Little Bear, where I felt more and more agitated the longer I sat there. Sitting at Ihatov, I felt calm and at ease. I'm glad I came here following Little Bear so that I could get back into a good mindset. The food was good, and I can see myself returning to try more.Food:- Peach buttermilk biscuit - pleasantly chewy, lightly sweet (apparently mentioned in the NYT)- Morning glory muffin - so many things going on (apple, carrot, coconut, raisin, walnut). It's not too much or too overwhelming. It's just right- Yuzu citrus fruit galette (peach) - I wish the yuzu flavor were slightly more noticeable. Peach skin looked like it still had its fuzz (awesome). It glistened. I found it to be very satisfying.- Lemon thyme scone - the lemon is in the glaze. I love the hint of thyme (visually and flavor-wise) throughoutService:- Kind, quickAmbiance:- it's a converted Starbucks Reserve- I like the white/brown/wood/airy/minimalist/simple aesthetic- it was pretty loud in the cafe, but when I went to the restroom, it was really quiet, somber/muted, and calming, and I wished I could stay in there for a long time. The soaps smell good- the sunlight streaming through the windows was nice, albeit too bright sometimes, so I had to wear a hat for a bit- love the books lying around to browse through. We looked at some books about Miyazaki films- I like that you can see the kitchen at work- I wasn't overwhelmed with lots of choices, which is nice- I can see there being a little bit of shortage of seating, depending on how many people there are, with the way the tables are distributed
