My experience at the Hypnotherapy Academy of America is one I will cherish forever. It is the only school in North America whose hypnotherapy methods have been scientifically validated. But it is more than that! My education was excellent. The master instructors are a wealth of knowledge and experience. Each day I learned something inspiring in an environment that was loving, supportive, and so much fun. The education at the academy gave me all the tools I needed to start my own Hypnotherapy practice. In fact, I already had clients waiting to work with me upon my certification. It is more than a superior education; it was a spectacular experience. I am so grateful I chose the Hypnotherapy Academy of America.

I could NOT be any happier with my training at the Hypnotherapy Academy of America (HAA), and I believe it to be the best hypnotherapy training grounds in the world. I'll tell you a little about why:There are a lot of people and schools out there offering to teach people hypnosis - but none that I know of with the caliber and focus of the HAA. For starters, nothing replaces live and in-person, classroom style training. This work is experiential - and you need to be able to practice on/with other humans if you want to succeed. Because hypnotherapy is an unlicensed profession, distinguishing between quality, depth, and breadth of training programs out there can be confusing, but the leaders of the HAA have methodically changed the industry in a lot of really positive ways. The HAA set the bar for baseline curriculum, rigor, thoroughness, and amount of training hours. The International Board of Hypnotherapy's requirements for foundational training and continuing education requirements are the highest in the world for certifying hypnotherapists, and the HAA is structured in a way to meet those requirements. The same training standards I'm referencing are the only ones accepted by the Veterans Administration, and training by the HAA is also provided by multiple medical doctors on staff. In my fourth year in practice, I have already made 6 figures this year through my private practice, going on multiple 6 figures, and it's only August. Train through the Academy for the most beautiful and empowering training experience you can find anywhere. If you are considering Hypnotherapy Academy of America, look no further, you are in the right place! I came to the Hypnotherapy Academy of America with great hopes. I've been a hypnotist for about a year. After attending three different hypnosis training programs I started a business and found that it wasn't growing and I lacked confidence in what I was doing. I found that while my clients had success in what they came for, they all reverted back to their old behavior. Each time I attended a new Hypnosis class I had great hopes but always left disappointed. When I found and attended the Hypnotherapy Academy of America all that changed. On the first day I knew that I had made the right decision. I was blown away with not only the depth of knowledge that Tim had, but his dynamic style of training. His passion and ability to be present with the class was amazing. I have been a corporate trainer for 30 years and I know what it takes to be good. He is one of the best I have ever seen.The curriculum is brilliantly designed. It starts with the foundation of what Hypnosis is and each day builds on the day before. We would learn one technique, watch it modeled and then practiced with a coach to guide and teach us. Having qualified coaches is very unique from all of the other training I have attended, no one that I know provides that level of support. Through the guidance of the coaches I felt like I really knew the technique when I was done, it made the experience authentic and real. The directors Tim and Angela Simmerman Sierra also created a secondary learning experience that was a delightful surprise. By design, we practiced using our own real issues. By doing so each of the people in the class had experiences that had a transforming effect. I personally was able to get rid of some blocks in my life that have stopped me from doing thing I have always wanted to do. As the training progressed I felt myself changing and I came home a better person that when I started. Like I said, the training is brilliant. If you are looking for the best hypnotherapy training in the country the academy is definitely where you want to be. The directors have spent years refining this program to provide the highest training and standards. Their passion and dedication to the students surpasses any other training I have seen or heard of. You work hard and you feel amazing when you graduate. If you seriously want to make a difference in helping people, there is no place better. When you leave you are truly ready to be a great clinical hypnotherapists. I am so grateful for all the work the Academy has done to create such an amazing program. I've seen what is out there and this program is, without a doubt, the best. I received so much more out of the program than I paid for, every penny was worth it.

I am a graduate of the summer 2021 class and just started back to my old job as a registered nurse on both inpatient and residential chemical dependency units while I continue to work at setting up my own hypnotherapy practice. Being able to take the entire ten week program was a miracle in itself because it felt like the universe was arranging itself to make it possuble to attend. The class was real time over zoom and packed with information that I am still processing. This is indeed the closest thing to Hogwarts that exists in this dimensional reality. I just did my first guided imagery group for inpatient last night and the depth and impact it had was mind blowing. One meth addict thanked me over and over and then later came to the med window and broke down in tears. He was never able to accept other programs that pushed a religious paradigm but he resonated completely with a universal consciousness and learning how to work with the power of his own mind. Tim and Angela Simmeraman-Sierra produce a world class hypnotherapy training academy!From the first week, students get hands on training about real world topics and issues. It is concrete and goal oriented. Truly it is the best training experience of my life. My time was well used and I feel like I haven't even seen the top of the iceberg. The more they teach, the more we all hunger to know just that much more.

This is a terrible school but if you want to learn good hypnotherapy check out trainings by Melissa Tiers . Melissa's book Integrative Hypnotherapy is great. Her Integrative Hypnosis training is only 8 days but after you have free access to bi-monthly free supervision/ mentoring. I promise you will learn more in 8 days of Melissa's training then 8 weeks of Tim reading his book to you. I say this out of a deep love for hypnosis and a desire to encourage all prospective students to get off to a good start. You could watch Melissa Tiers on YOUTUBE, and be amazed at how much you could learn from an amazing teacher.

The curriculum at the Hypnotherapy Academy of America, is beautifully designed, organized, and detailed. The teachers are incredibly passionate about their work, and talented at what they do. The strong, professional, and warm relationships that we were able to build with our coaches, teachers and colleagues are an indication of the unique environment of this school.
