Beautiful hotel - we did a recent staycation here and we had a great time. I wish we had stayed longer! We stayed in one of the newer rooms in the Cottages and it was just beautiful and spacious and full of natural light. The cleanliness was perfection. I was very impressed with how safe it felt too. The courtyard that we had to walk through to get to our "cottage" was beautifully landscaped, cozy, private, and very secure. We didn't see any other guests although obviously there were some. The beds were pretty comfortable, the blackout shades actually worked, and I loved that there was a variety of pillow types (some more firm, some softer, etc.) so you could find something that worked for you. There were just a lot of those thoughtful details that you don't find in major chain hotels (or even 5 star Vegas hotels). The robes were super cozy and comfortable too and I loved the bath products- they smelled incredible. Unfortunately we didn't have an opportunity to try the breakfast and seeing the pics I'm really sad that we missed out. The one bad mark of note was Apothecary. We had visited a long time ago when we lived closer to the area. We stopped in after coming back from dinner at about 9pm. They weren't supposed to close until 10:30. When we went upstairs it was pretty empty but there were still guests. The bartender semi-rudely told us that they just had last call and were done. When I commented that I thought last call was at 10 based on the sign downstairs, he just said, "Nope, closing early tonight." I get it - it was pretty dead but still disappointing. We turned around to go back down the elevator and he said something like, "well, are you guys staying here?" We said yes and he said that he could do one round. The drinks were good but we probably should've just skipped because we felt like nothing but an inconvenience. I won't hold this against the hotel because that's really the bar but it was pretty disappointing as we wanted to relax and check out the city views.

We booked thru Hotels.com as it seems to have the best competitive rates. Our greeting was welcoming & attentive. Check in was fast & efficient. The staff were amazing & helpful. The fridge did not work in our room or our in-laws room. The dog park area was great as it had real grass and bags. The history of the hotel was everywhere and the decor is very nice! Went up to the rooftop was nice and the sunroom was beautiful. Breakfast was good. Secure as you need room key to go to floors, which we liked. We would return if in area.

Upon check in I asked the front desk about safety in the area, I stated it seemed janky. Their response was " what do you expect it's Albuquerque"

Great little historical property with boutique amenities. Really enjoyed my stay here. Easy shuttle pick up from the airport. Cool little historic neighborhood walking distance to downtown. Free breakfast included. It's allegedly haunted but I didn't see any evidence of that and I looked lol.

Nice hotel, great location. Originally built 1926 as a hospital for the railway workers, then turned into a mental hospital. Lol. The hotel was renovated and kept neat elements from the past. Lovey hotel. The Apothecary lounge on the rooftop is amazing with great views of the city. Catch the sunset, order a handcrafted cocktail.

Solid hotel. Some say it's haunted. I say nah. Great service, clean rooms. The continental breakfast is way better than what you find at a chain. Another perk is that the breakfast room is open all day with coffee and tea options and seating so it's a nice place to duck in to if you are looking for a break or to get a little work done. We had a meeting here and used one of the meeting rooms on the first floor. Staff were great with getting things set up, food options were good and the food set up for the meeting was nice that it was in a different room from where we were meeting. Fourth floor is restaurant and bar with rooftop seating. Highly recommend. Great space with good views.

The Hotel Parq Central is located on the east edge of downtown and the medical districts. Converted from an old hospital the renovation into a hotel is pretty amazing and it was a great place to spend the night as we went through Albuquerque. Our room was clean and modern. The bed was comfortable and the room had all the standard amenities you might expect. The bathroom was large for the size of the room. The staff was efficient at check-in. The parking is a little tight and I was hesitant to park in the driveway to unload, but it all worked out. There are a couple of great spots here for just relaxing. The courtyard off the first floor is beautiful and relaxing. You will quickly forget you are in the middle of the city. The rooftop bar is a great place to escape for the evening to enjoy the sunset and see the lights of Albuquerque at night. We enjoyed our stay and were glad that we tried something new and away from the major brands.

Bree, the apparent manager (though I don't believe that's true) was the least helpful and least customer service centered hotel employee that I have ever encountered. After booking a King room, she claimed the "manager" oversold and put me in a small, old double bed room, with an incredibly uncomfortable bed. When I asked to be switched to the king room I booked, she claimed it would be $30 to upgrade. When I asked to cancel the room and book elsewhere, she said that was not possible beyond the booking window. And when I then asked to speak with her manager, she claimed she was the manager. Absolutely zero assistance, and now I have paid for an uncomfortable, old room with a small bed. Avoid this hotel at all costs!

Love this hotel having stayed here over the last several years, it's a wonderful historic oasis close to Downtown, great location, nicely restored with fun details, rooms are spotless, comfortable beds, walk in shower and complimentary robes that are a nice touch.Amenities were awesome, the shuttle service within a 3mile radius, breakfast had a good selection, the rooftop lounge, the calm and peaceful courtyard with a fountain and rocking chairs, the solarium. Unlike the usual look a like hotels HPC is pleasantly one of a kind.Thank you to all the superb staff who made our experience more than just a hotel stay, can't wait to go back next time.
