We stayed for one night while exploring the saturday nightlife of Albuquerque. It's an old building but maintained very well. Friendly staff. I liked the design of the room and the bathroom style. We booked a queen room but got upgraded to the king while checking in. Thank you so much for that. The room was clean and very large size. The hotel is located within walking distance to the restaurants and bars.We didn't use their valet service, we parked ourselves at a parking structure in a short distance -like behind the building. We had their breakfast the next morning. We sat near to the fountain. I like the ambiance and how decorated the hotel for Christmas. Our server was friendly.. My husband got huevos rancheros and I ordered avocado toast with eggs. I liked mine. It came with 2 slices of bread topped with avocado, radish, onion, and eggs. I was able to eat just one and got the rest with me. Toast was good, not the best but very enjoyable. My husband loved the huevos rancheros. He said it was perfect. The portion was very big. Looked very yummy.

This week, I traveled to New Mexico for some business and I stayed at Hotel Andaluz in downtown Albuquerque. This historic hotel is notable as the fourth establishment ever constructed by Conrad Hilton, the founder of Hilton Hotels. It also holds the distinction of being the first building in New Mexico to have air conditioning. It was constructed in 1939. The Hilton family sold the hotel in 1969, and it changed ownership several times before becoming part of the Curio Collection by Hilton in 2019. Additionally, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.Beautiful hotel with a great story. I enjoyed my time! Staff was friendly, great in house food. The only real con was it is valet only. Sometimes it took awhile to retrieve the car. Oh and no continental breakfast, that stunk too. Overall amazing and beautiful.

Stopped here on the way down to Scottsdale. Hotel is in a great area. I hope to revisit it again after the renovation of the restaurant, elevators, and bar is complete.

What a perfect hotel to kick off our trip! This is such a beautiful hotel. From the moment I walked into the lobby, I was captivated by the stunning architecture and Southwest-inspired design. It exudes a sense of grandeur and elegance while maintaining a relaxed and comfortable ambiance. The rooms were spacious, very clean, and had the same vibe as the rest of the hotel. It's in a good central location in the heart of Albuquerque.

Hotel Andaluz Albuquerque in New Mexico is a Hilton hotel. Parking is valet only at $19 per night. I stayed one night here on 6/13/2023.There are three reasons why I'm knocking off 2 stars:1) - which really can't be helped, but it's not the best area. Sure, there are great businesses here. Only problem is, as a female traveling alone even with my usual protective gear on my person, this is not a pleasant area to walk to restaurants or a coffee because of all the transients, homeless, drunk & drugged folks roaming around aimlessly.2) - the employees here other than valet and housekeeping are not amicable or welcoming. In fact, no one really seems to be watching the door so any random, non-Hilton patron can enter the building because unfortunately the valets are constantly busy. The operator was difficult for me to hear on the room phone when I requested my vehicle be brought down and I tried repeating what she said but she was straight up rude. Ya girl don't play that way in person. Must have been empowering to be so disrespectful on a landline. 3) - they changed my room that I chose through the app to the worst possible view. I don't think it's too much to ask for when my single adult stay came out to $209.43. Also, I was happy when I saw the tub, then realized there was no drain stopper. The one time I wanted to soak my bones in the tub, I wasn't able to. Why even give me a choice if you're not going to honor it?My room was well-maintained and clean even if a bit claustrophobic. I was just a bit worried when valet assigned not one, but two tickets to my Jeep. I received a "I'm not sure how that happened ma'am" when I asked so.The lobby was beautiful. You can reserve the little areas for cocktails with friends. There was a restaurant on site that I didn't try. It's beautiful inside and out. The elevators worked relatively quickly. But...Hard pass on this place.

Names are important when you get to know folk & Andaluz gets it! It was nice to feel welcomed when entering the room The check-in was seamless with Maria and Kenneth. There was a great introduction to the property and the hospitality was exceptional! There's a restaurant on the first floor and a bar on another. The location is warm and inviting. It feels like you're settling into a cozy casita at a family or friend's home. It's downtown, so food and activity is easy to access. There's valet and self-parking (very close to hotel entrance). I received great suggestions for things to do and best places to eat (the experience was a match to the word of mouth recommendation). And don't worry about soap, shampoo, and conditioner...they opted for the Molton Brown collection There are parks nearby if you have children. This stay was for a layover, but I must make it a point to return and really take in the Albuquerque vibes soon! Even my girls loved the stay. Thanks to property and staff for a pleasant experience

I recently stayed here for a couple of nights while on vacation. The hotel room was fine but the bathroom was so tiny. No place to put your toiletries or hang up your towels. Also the shower head needed to be replaced. It shot water everywhere. I did not order maid service (it was not automatic) but they did make up my room the 2nd day which was nice. This hotel is right near the convention center if you were there for a conference but not much else is around. Its a pretty run down area with lots of empty spaces and a bit of a homeless population. It was a bit scary walking along at night. Only a few restaurants near by so not much within walking distance. Also, there did not seem to be a gym in hotel. What hotel does not have a gym these days, especially in a downtown area? I did try to buy a soda from the small gift shop in the reception area but there was no staff there. Someone from the restaurant was nice enough to get the soda put on my bill.Overall not a bad stay but I would stay elsewhere if I came to Albuquerque again.

I stayed here for work in October of 2024 and would not return. First off, the hotel is under major renovations which is fine, I understand that happens, BUT it was not posted on their site letting customers know. I walked in to the hotel to check in and you don't know where to go, they didn't offer water or recognize Hilton honors guests. After checking in I went to the 1 working elevator which takes a long time because they only have the one functioning. The carpets and rugs are filthy and stained. I went into the room and the bathroom was tiny and had zero place to put toiletries. They had a basket on the FLOOR with a couple towels. Tub didn't drain and the fabrics including the lamp shade was filthy and stained. The rate was fairly expensive and the following night I traveled to a MUCH nicer hotel in Dallas for less. They also did not have a hotel gym. You have to leave the hotel and go down several blocks downtown to go to a partnered gym which for a female who travels is not safe. This hotel needs to be more upfront about their lack of amenities and do some cleaning.
