The hotel Albuquerque was generally a nice place to stay. The location is fantastic for walking around old town and the south facing rooms all have balconies. I enjoyed the lobby and had some posole in the restaurant and it was quite good. The rooms are pretty comfortable but seemed stamped from a holiday inn mold - which isn't bad but it's rather generic for the premises. The bathrooms were nicely remodeled but my sink didn't drain which probably speaks to larger maintenance neglect. All in all, I had a pleasant stay but there is so much opportunity to bring this place up a few notches by elevating the southwest charm in the rooms.

I have lived in New Mexico my entire life and I have never had the privilege to tour this hotel. I believe his name was Shane, he gave me a personal tour of the hotel after I'd gone outside to visit the beautiful grounds. Summer must be spectacular and I can see how weddings are held here. There's even a chapel on the property I was there to visit the Qbar but they were closed but apparently they have a great salsa night. The banquet rooms were beautiful, the lighting and decor were unique and beautiful. He explained the types of events that are held there, food options, event information and took me to see the chapel and the beautiful rooms for a bride and groom to get ready in. You supply who you want to marry you. The grounds were gorgeous and they share the huge pool with their sister hotel...Hotel Chaco.

Great location in Old Town Albuquerque - walkable to a lot of different restaurants, the Breaking Bad store, and more. The place feels like a great little villa when you're walking in. I think Helene nailed it when she said "Five star location in a 3.5 star hotel," in a previous review - this place feels impressive and elegant, but the rooms themselves are simple, clean, and basic. Nothing extravagant, but sufficient for a comfortable night sleep. Nice touches with complimentary bottles of water they put in the fridge and coffee in the room. I would definitely stay here again if I needed to be in Old Town!

I was here for a conference and so both stayed in a room for 3 nights and had meetings and meals in the conference center. Everything was great! The pre-arrival text was nice to get an ETA; I know it's a bot, but still nice to know they were expecting me. My room was ready early which was a bonus. I had time to settle in and clean up some emails before heading out to walk around a bit. The wifi is included in the amenities fee as is parking if you have a car, pool access and things like bottled water. The room was comfortable and clean and the little balcony was nice. I liked the separate dressing area outside the bathroom too. The only thing missing was somewhere comfortable to sit other than the bed...just one straight backed arm chair and the desk chair. The A/C worked well! It was pretty quiet but seems like they have some street racing/burnouts/spinning in the area some nights so if squealing tires will wake you up, bring earplugs. The conference center was the usual with standard tables and banquet style straight backed chairs. The big plusses were that they actually have sufficient bathrooms for big crowds! Yay! No long lines at breaks. Tech seemed to work well, and the food at breakfast, lunch and our receptions was good. They did add a southwest flair with some red and green chili at breakfast which was nice. The wifi was strong enough to handle our whole group! Location is convenient to Old Town and the Albuquerque Museum is literally just the other side of the parking lot. The Sawmill food hall is very close as well along with some other dining options.

A large complex situated just an easy stroll away from Old Town Albuquerque. It's more on the upscale side, with large rooms done up in a modern -meets -southwestern style. It's easy to get lost here, between the three restaurants, meeting rooms and pool, but as a place to lay your head it's pretty nice; the front desk staff is super friendly and efficient and my room was clean, spacious, with a comfortable king-size bed, a great balcony overlooking the city and a nice updated shower. There was plenty of hot water with good pressure, lots of towels, a nice sink to wash up in, and even a separate changing area. Flat screen TV was nicely situated and the desk/workstation came in handy, as did the included fridge. The outdoor heated pool is modern and inviting, and the lush grounds are well maintained and lovely to walk around in as well. As for the minuses, I'll say the in-room A/C is annoyingly loud, the hallway decor and rug is looking pretty dated and the smallish gym/fitness room right off the elevators is a joke for a hotel of this size (and the price of the room). Especially when they charge you an extra "resort fee" with no included breakfast. It's a nice property in a sweet location, but I have to deduct a star just for price alone.

Can I just say we had an amazing time while staying at the Hotel Albuquerque! We got there as part of a tour group Ohio State University. We found out at dinner that our room had been given to someone else but they were very eager to fix the problem and even offered us a bottle of wine or champagne for our troubles. All of the receptionist at the front desk were friendly, and helpful. The day manager that we met was super friendly and helpful. Checking on us and thanking us for staying every time we saw him. I really enjoyed the scavenger hunt and wish more hotels would have something fun like that related to the area they are in. I especially loved the handmade balloon I won for completing the challenge. Please continue it. If it's not balloon season you could have it related to Old Town, or Petroglyphs, or other area sites. You could even have a kids and adult version. Thanks again for a great vacation. It was well worth the flight from West Virginia.

Honestly, the place was so lack luster. No hot water, "smart" TV didn't have internet access, floors were dusty. It's 2024 y'all. Crazy. Advertising yourself as they do and charging prices that they do, it's incongruent with the experience provided.

Disappointed. They act like a 5 star hotel but are far from it. A ton of hidden fees, like an extra $20 a day for the pool access and complimentary waters? They include 2, 8 oz waters in your room. Over priced bar, at $9 for a Modelo can. Foods avg at best, very bland and not creative. No drink menu, the bar manager was very irratible, making it clear that someone called in and definitely did not want to be there. Room service doesn't serve during the day but they promote that they do. They offer free valet but nobody was around, finally an employee said just park your car and give the keys to the front desk. Towels were old, hard and rough. The gym is insulting, the front desk recommends you to go to the hotel next door. I will say the staff for the most part was great, but everything else was a joke. I came for a weddib, but was told that everyone apart of the wedding is cut off due to a few individuals that ruined it. A server for the wedding was on her phone on speaker during the speeches. The wedding had over a hundred people but they cut off everyone because of a couple kids? Never considered to base it off the individual, or the fact we paid 20k. Amateur hour, not worth it, hotel isn't high class but they act like it. UNLESS YOU'RE A SENIOR CITIZEN, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. BORING, JUDMENTAL, OVER PRICED, OUTDATED JUST SADD AND LAME
