Great bar. Nice patrons. Bar staff... what can I say? I haven't had a bar tender have such pointedly strong skills. To say he had me like a deer in headlights! Attentive, knowledgeable and funny!!! 2 bright stars for him!!!! Great food and comfy corner bar feel!

We enjoyed our trip here. They have about 45 beers on tap and another 20 or so in bottles. I'd love a cocktail, but beggars can't be choosers. The service was very friendly! The kid got Alfredo pasta, I got a southwest salad (with feta instead of the usual Mexican cheese blend!) and the husband got nachos. None set the world on fire, but all were solid and a fair sight better than Chilis or the like. And, the highlight of the meal, the combo basket appetizer which let you pick three fried items from the choice of cheese sticks, pickles, mushrooms and zucchini. We got the first three and all were fresh and beer battered (as promised). We left just as a band was setting up, so shame on us for missing what looked like a good show. This wasn't earth-shattering but it was a solid dinner and beers on a weekday night. We will probably come back (despite us living on the other side of the river).

We were exited to try something different on our side of town. We enjoyed the live music, but the service really let us down. We ordered a single pizza to share, and it took almost an hour to get it. Keep in mind, we didn't see a single pizza at any other table, nor did we see anyone making pizzas. From the time we ordered, one guy finished his drink, another guy came in and took his place, ordered his wings, and ate his entire order before we got our pizza. When the waitress finally brought it, we asked for some ranch. When we had a single slice left, she let us know she forgot and we told her we didn't need it anymore. The pizza was good (cold, but good), great beer selection, we were just let down by the service.

The pizza is really good and so are the chicken wings. We tried the chili fries and they were very good also. They have great options on beer. The music is a bit way too loud they have karaoke and good local singers and bands. But because it so loud it's not always nice listening to it. But the food is really good.

We went here to listen to a band that was playing here. The atmosphere was great. Enjoyed the beer and wine that we ordered. The service was good. Did not have food but it looked good.

Third time's the charm!This strip mall dive bar was known as The Hopper for several years, both pre-pandemic and under new ownership post-pandemic, and both versions blew. Er, didn't really measure up. They were decent attempts at the ol' beers-pizza-and-honky-tonk thing that don't take much effort (see Spinn's Burger & Beer or Howie's Sports Page), but somehow they failed to execute. We visited precisely three times over five years. And we lived right down the block.Recently the same bones have received a patio re-do and a new coat of paint under new ownership (very friendly people, BTW), now titled Hops & Dough. The place is a major upgrade, so much so that we find ourselves there nearly once a week. My 13 year-old regularly belts Taylor Swift's greatest hits on Karaoke Tuesdays (and sometimes Saturdays). The beer list has been paired down to about 50 pours, which is a good thing, still featuring some solid, harder to find local brews. They could expand the wine list and ultimately it would be great to see cocktails, but no worries, for now I have a nice spot to watch the game on Sundays because...Wangs! And the massive plates of chile cheese fries and nachos (get the small size), very good enchiladas, decent pasta, burgers that should be better... that's about it. But I mean the food is better, service is better, across the board it's better. It's the neighborhood dive bar I've been waiting for. Good job, y'all.

Packed on a Friday but service was swift. Good beer selection and the Best thin crust pizza in town.

I have been here a couple of times now, when I'm on the west side of town. So far the food is really good. The chicken wings are tender. Nice selection of beer. Sometimes they have daily specials. I had ordered the macaroni and cheese, it was good, except the cheese turned into a cold clump. My friend had the posele, she asked where the meat is. Had more broth. Usually have great service. The ambiance is your usual pub feel. Overall I do recommend this place.

Good mixed appetizer! And I had the grilled chicken sandwich was great. Great list of on tap beers.Service was good and really nice! Will go back. Great place to hang out with friends!
