I've purchased furniture on several occasions from this store. All of it is Ashley furniture. These days, you can expect to fork over thousands for a furniture set that has veneer on it but is more solid than say, Sauder at Walmart or any Big Lots furniture set. I'm happy with the furniture itself, though the store wasn't exactly honest about its construction. The store has a good financing card that is easy to get if you need help buying anything. I feel like the price I paid is fair considering other places I looked at the time. However, my boyfriend had a totally different experience than me. I just was looking to see if I should add the filing cabinet to my desk set. My boyfriend went in the store to see if he could buy it for me, and the manager asked him if there was anything he could help him find. My boyfriend, knowing what he wanted, told him he already knew what he was looking for. From what my boyfriend said, the manager was holding a conversation on his cell phone and mumbled something about some asshole customer that just walked in. Knowing it was him, my boyfriend got very offended and reported it to the next person up, and told me that these people were very apathetic about the issue. Even though I have bought my stuff here before, he will not shop at this store again because of the way he was treated.

Walked into the store in the am and ordered ~$2500 worth of bedroom furniture, for next day del'y. One hour later called store to cancel $500 in mattresses (found a better quality at Costco for $300). Would only offer a store credit for mattresses. After a couple of calls (salesman to owner) and my insisting on crediting my card for 500, or cancelling the full order, they relented.I asked salesman to check into Murphy bed options for me, he agreed to do same..... never heard a word. 3wks have passed.There are too many options around town for furniture. The store sells overpriced, poor quality, junk furniture; then will not honor their "warranty". I purchased a formal dining set (over $2200) on July 21, 2023. On September 4, 2023 I noticed on one of the armchairs the upholstery seam was coming apart and contacted the store. They asked for a photo, which I sent. The next day they told me that they had contacted the manufacturer and got a response that the seam coming apart (after 5 weeks) was not a manufacturer defect, so it was not under warranty. They gave me the name of an upholstery shop and/or suggested I purchase TWO more chairs, as they only come in pairs! This suggestion is laughable- WHY would I buy two more pieces of garbage furniture from THIS store? Then, they hypothesized; what appeared happened was that a pet had scratched the upholstery- OR perhaps the chair was rubbed against something to damage it. FINALLY, if it WAS a manufacturer defect I should have noticed it on the day of delivery. ALL bases covered to NOT repair or replace the chair! Congratulations HOME LIFE! PS- We do not have any pets. The chair has only ever been placed at the head of the table- never against any rough surface. We had ONE dinner at that table (formal dining) in the five weeks between purchase and the thing coming apart; the chair was sat in about 1 and 1/2 hours. RUN from this store- don't waste your money here.

I purchase a recliner from the on 7/9/22 it was a floor model and the assured me it had not been on the floor long. so the shrink wrapped the item without my inspection of the product When we got it home we placed in place and removed the shrink wrap to find a tear in the corner. I called and talked with owner and he told me that it is not their problem and the would no to anything about that. I told him we would return the chair. He told me he would not take it back. we were planning to buy a sofa set from them for over 7000.00 no no more. Please take your business to a bigger company like Ashley's or American Furniture as the always stand behind there products.

Buyer beware! This store will not tell you the entire truth about the furniture they are selling. We bought a sofa set that was sold to us as full leather. The manufacturer told us it is vinyl and leather.

I have never been so disgusted with a company and I will tell everyone about my experience and I urge anyone thinking about buying from this company please do not there are plenty of better reputable companies to purchase from. My experience has been a nightmare from the second I paid 3,000 for a couch set I was told they were excellent quality etc and that couldn't be further from the truth. Within 6 months of owning the couch, the " leather" started peeling off the couches the seams started falling apart the actual frame bend causing the couch to fall apart ( the couch actually separates when it reclines) We contacted Homelife and told them what happened that in its self was a challenge because the woman on the phone had no clue about anything we were then asked to call back when Natalie was working we tried for a week to reach her and finally talked to her come to find out they will not cover or replace the couch that has torn seems and it falling apart but they will fix the bent frame ( mind you we have only had this couch for a year and a half at this point) after waiting almost 2 months and zero communication with Homlife keeping us up to date on the parts we finally had to call and talked to Natalie somehow they miraculously arrived that day and they would send someone out to fix the bent frame. Finally, after seeing some light at the end of the tunnel and the repair guy finishing up the couch I get a call from Homelife asking me how I would like to pay for the repairs? Never ONCE were we ever told we would have to pay anything being that the couches are still under warranty and I am still paying $3,000 on them. The reply was Natalie told you I think I would remember if she told me she was going to charge me for something that was under warrantySo now we had to pay Homelife even more money which I think is a total scam and we will have couches that are ripping at the seams, peeling " leather". I would love nothing more then to be treated like we matter and not just another customer. They took our money and continue to take it for a defective product.

Beware of Home Life Furniture!! I had a really poor experience with this business. Details are in a separate Yelp review. Currently this business resides in the Cottonwood mall. They recently re-opened at their new location after advertising for many months that they were going out of business!Rather than advertise that they were simply moving to a new location they actually advertised they were going out of business. Who does this?Practices like this speak volumes about their business-model and I can tell you from experience it's not about taking care of the customer. I willnot be visiting their new location nor will I make any purchases from this merchant. With this review I am hoping to help keep someone else from falling victim to this businesses predatory practices.

I'm surprised to see so many negative reviews. Home Life is my "go to" store when I need furniture. I've bought 2 living room sets (sofa and love seat), 2 living room table sets (coffee table and 2 end tables), 2 dining room sets, and 2 lamps. I've gotten rave reviews from everybody who's seen what I've bought. Everything is built well, and the prices were very reasonable.I've seen the negative comments regarding their sale of Ashley Furniture. Ashley has 2 "lines" of furniture: (1) basic; and (2) Signature Design. I agree that the basic items are not worth buying if you need them for every day use -- they're best use is for staging house. The Signature Design is a much, much better quality. A lot of times, Home Life will have Ashley Signature items that the Ashley store doesn't sell.I also have rave reviews on my dealings with all of the staff members that I had contact with. I was always greeted and asked if I needed help. If I said I was just looking, they would point to the service desk and tell me to go there if I had questions or needed help. If I said I needed help, they helped me right away if they weren't with another customer, or got back to me as soon as they finished with the customer they were with.The manager of the store works his butt off. On the day my furniture was getting delivered, one of the delivery guys called in sick, so the manager and the other delivery guy delivered my furniture. Now, that's what I call good service.
