Hollywood Roofing

I have a rental house in Albuquerque and live in Northern California. In January 2021 my tenant notified me that there was a leak in the kitchen so I began to call around to get estimates. I got several estimates but the best deal was when I ran into Greg at Hollywood Roofing. I have a simple house in NE Heights with a very large detached garage on the back of the property. To say they did an amazing job is an understatement. I asked Greg to pick out the color for my roof and he did a beautiful job. I will post a few photos. He left no detail untouched as he painted the pipes and the trim. I am beyond satisfied and highly recommend Hollywood Roofing. Tell Greg that Cheree sent you.

Needed a quote on a drainage problem on our balcony. They were prompt to come out and provide us a quote. We had them do the work and it was too was completed promptly. We are very happy with how they professionally handled everything. Both owner and crew were very thorough.

Outstanding service and a great roof, too boot! We first called Hollywood to fix a leaky roof on our JUST MOVED INTO house! Tony Hollywood came himself within an hour of our call! When he was done, I walked him out and noticed someone was in the car waiting for him. Tony informed me it was his wife, and they were on their way to dinner to celebrate their anniversary!! I was so impressed, and might have given the roof replacement job to him in any event, BUT!!! His estimate was extremely reasonable and upon taking apart our old roof knocked another 700 dollars of the estimate on a part that was perfectly sound and would be unnecessary to replace. The roof was absolutely perfect and installed on time, with professional and courteous roofers. As if I wasn't impressed enough, when they saw a large pile scrap rotted lumber in my backyard, they OFFERED to take it to the dump for me with the old shingles, and actually loaded it onto the truck for me. (I did help!) My wife and I have had some really bad experiences with contractors having just moved here from another state. It is incredibly uplifting to see a company that knows what going the "extra mile" means to a customer. I would recommend this company to anyone, on the strength of all that's important. Price, Courtesy, Promptness and doing all the little extras that make Hollywood such a great company!

What a fiasco. Greg the owner is very unprofessional and unethical. Missed several start dates, used various family crisis as excuses. I issued ultimatum start on certain date or return my down payment minus any reasonable cost incurred to date. Greg said his team, who never had the personal problems, would start on a Monday. I asked what time, and he said he would call me back only to learn his foreman was out of state and would start on Tuesday. Team arrived, work was for the most part done well with the exception of taking big chunks of stucco out of my chimney when removing old cement and not repairing it. In the main, I am pleased with the roof and gutters. Had a leak in the gutter that was supposed to be fixed when the leaf filers I had requested where installed. Nearly, a month later I had contracted with another company for leaf filters and the young installer fixed the leak. Greg, had submitted two insurance-claim supplements one for additional work discovered after the initial estimate and secondly, a code compliance issue. The insurance company had questions regarding the supplements and tried to contact Greg but Greg failed all the insurance company's and my attempts to contact him. After I posted a scathing review on Angi, Yelp, and Home Advisor, Greg called all apologetic and contrite. He was now in the midst of divorce proceedings and things had gone off the rails, but he was not back on track. I told him about my chimney and he was going to make it right, contact the insurance company, and blah, blah. He called the adjuster and settle the questions on one supplement and he sent a young man to repair my chimney. Learned he never ordered the leaf filters. However, when a new adjuster tried to contact him regarding the second supplement no response to adjuster or to me. I have an $1860.00 claim pending. Like a fool, I felt sorry for him and his personal problems and took down the negative reviews. This man has no sense of honor or integrity--stay well clear of him--his word means nothing. And, this review will not be coming down.

I would give negative stars if possible. Do not use Hollywood Roofing. Do not give Greg any money. He comes off as a Christian but is extremely far from it. Continually not showing up when scheduled. Never finished the job. Left debris on my roof that I removed myself. Do not use this guy.

Unreliable. A no-show for their appointment. No phone call or text from Greg (who scheduled the appointment) to indicate they could not make it. I waited and wasted 2 hours. Go elsewhere.

We didn't know we had a leak till part of the ceiling fell in. One of the workers spent a long time making a temporary repair. Hollywood Roofing installed an 80 mil TPO roof for us for extra hail resistance, and for foot-traffic resistance. They installed some kind of superior-quality steel cladding on the top of the parapet, but I forgot what it's called. They all take a lot of pride in their work. They sloped the flat roof so it will drain properly. Hollywood Roofing gets permits and inspections like they are supposed to.

After investigating local roofing companies, I decided to go with Hollywood Roofing. Without a doubt this was one of the best decisions ever. Greg Delgado is professional in his dealings with his crew and is honest and dependable. The job was completed on time and the result is superior. The entire crew practiced social distancing whenever they needed to interact with me or my wife. I would not hesitate to recommend Hollywood Roofing to my friends.

December 2019 I highly recommend Hollywood Roofing LLC and its owner, Greg G*******. When my insurance company inspected my roof, they found indeed that it was damaged by hail, and I would need a new roof. I received quotes from 4 companies and had 2 no show for estimates. Greg G******* not only provided me a detailed quote but spent extra time educating me about roofing and the needed changes to our roof structure in order for it to meet code. Hollywood also identified damage and complications that the insurance company had not. This doubled the cost of the roofing project and with their documentation, the insurance company authorized and paid for nearly all of it, disallowing only a few hundred of a $24k job. Greg G******* gave us his experience and qualifications and described the process, answering all our questions fully. We were impressed and decided to choose Hollywood to do the work. Great decision! The large crew arrived on time and over a 5.5 day week, completely replaced our roof, both pitched and flat. We love the look of the new roof and Greg even threw in fascia and a few other things so that the whole thing looks brand new! Our entire experience with them was very satisfactory, and we would definitely use them again if necessity ever arose. Not that it will, Hollywood had the best warranty too! Mark J

My roof was damaged by the hail storm last fall (November, 2016). Hollywood Roofing replaced it this spring/summer. Their work and customer service was outstanding. Their contract was professional and clear, they use high quality materials, and their bid was very reasonable for the quality of work they did. They arrived when they said they would, they finished on time and on budget, and they cleaned up their work area. I was so impressed with the owner's service and attention to detail that I also had my gutters replaced. I highly recommend this company!
