Ho Ho Chinese

Closed and when it was open it was very gross and food looked weird and disgusting. The service wasn't well at all.

This place shut down a while back for what I thought would be a decent renovation. Instead, they put up security glass inside and now you have to talk into weird microphones to order. I can typically understand and deal with a business's need for feeling secure, but what got me was how impersonal and cold the owners have gotten and how bad the food now is. The man who took our order seems happy to get our money but doesn't seem to appreciate that it's people from this neighborhood who are making him a profit, and he even charged us for the wrong item to top it off. They literally use cheap spaghetti noodles instead of proper lo (chow) mein noodles and they're absolutely tasteless. Same goes for the rice and other items I ordered as far as lack of taste. This place went downhill fast and we won't be going back.

Small inconspicuous building that has some of the best Chinese food I've had here. Low prices and gargantuan plates and a super friendly staff. My new go to and it's blocks from my house!

They serve the largest portions in town. Very good food. I highly recommend the Kung Po Chicken, Sweet n Sour Chicken, and egg rolls for $8 total

Just as good as the location on Montgomery! For $6 you get about (seemingly) 5lbs of food!! The food hits the spot and satisfies the need for Chinese food! If you're looking for fine dining or a sit down and enjoy the ambiance.........keep driving. This is an order and be on your way type place. Folks are not very friendly but again, just gimme my food and here's your $6! I have never had any issues with the food tasting fresh or "items" found in the food. It's legit and very affordable! Great for take home or lunch at work.

Great value and really good quality food. I usually get the 2 item combo and it's enuf for 2 meals. Luv me sum ho hos

It's a great place for cheap on the go Chinese. Generous portions. Ho hos has been around for years and you can't beat the price. Salty, cheap, fairly fresh (depending when you go) Chinese food. I

I'm saddened the SE Ho Ho's closed.This was a valuable staple for many in that community.This resturant has not gotten the praise it should have.The food was always excellent, affordable,and filling.What could we have done to keep you open?I'm hoping that your other locations will thrive and not close.Youve been a help to so many people.Many places have gone,closed especially in the SE,we all know why.But I pray your business will be blessed and continue to help the communities you are still in.Thank you HO HO's for all the yrs you were over here.You will definitely be missed.

If you want Chinese food with absolutely no taste! This is your place the food is absolutely terrible the lo mein and fried rice have no taste whats so ever, worst 25$ I've ever spent on Chinese never again or atleast at this location on San Pedro haven't tried the other location but this was a BIG NO FOR ME

This place is really great. Absolutely delicious egg rolls and absolutely delicious kung pao chicken (our favorite). We've also had the sweet and sour chicken, the mongolian beef, and a mushroom dish. All were SO good. We've tried the three entire combination plate too. Very good. Staff is very friendly and nice. Prices arevery reasonable. Warning: This place is addicting. Location is right by our favorite mechanics too - so easy to get to.
