Great gym in the NE area. I've been a member for over a year now & have enjoyed the gym. The main appeal for me is the location being close to home & the facility having ample parking. Pros: instructors are friendly & good. Classes vary in type and ability level. Outdoor and indoor pool. You can use this membership for all the locations. Cons: the classes aren't all conducive to a working professionals schedule. Classes are pretty limited through the week- if you can't make one that might be the only offering for the week. The Del Norte location has better classes IMO. Barre/pilates. I don't know why- but the outdoor pool is closed A LOT. It's been closed for months at a time since I've been a member, which is a bummer because that was the original reason I joined this gym. Biggest con- outdated bathrooms. I really wish they would refresh the showers Overall the gym gets the job done & I'm thankful to live close to this facility.

I'm a member here, the kiddie pool has been broken since I joined. The pool is too cold unless you're swimming laps - so it's not great for kids. They won't allow a guest even if you pay for one... unless the sales team or manager is there. Today they turned away my kids grandfather even if I was willing to pay the extra $30 because they couldn't pitch him a sale after 6:00pm.

Highpoint Sports & Wellness seems to have more fancy equipment/resources than the facility that I frequent (Midtown). It has both outdoor/indoor pools, outdoor tennis courts and the usual other things that my usual location has. Maybe it's just me not being used to it, but I thought their outdoor pool seems much longer/slightly deeper than the outdoor pool at my usual location, too...which is great!...so you can do continuous swimming a lil longer. The only thing about this place is Highpoint seems a little smaller (building structure wise) than the Midtown one that I go to. The women's restrooms are a little smaller (but perhaps it's because they separate out the juniors/kids changing/shower/locker rooms from adults).Overall, great location/facilities. I enjoy the many activities that I can participate in as a member of Sports & Wellness club still!

Staff is usually nice. The women manager is a little rude but I just ignore her. It feels like a country club, I love it!

I have been with this gym for 10 years. I cancelled my membership because another gym accepted my insurance and therefore it became a free membership for me. When I went to cancel my membership I was told I had to go to another location where I originally signed up 10 years ago! Ridiculous. Also, I was told I had to give a 30 day notice. For ten years I paid into this establishment and they still wanted another $60?! Incredible! I was then told if my new gym was going to be that cheap eventually I would see their equipment break down and they would not be able to replace it quickly due to low membership rates and not having enough money to replace equipment. I am completely disappointed with Sports and Wellness. Will never return.

Living very close to this gym, my wife insisted we become members. The gym itself is a bit small and centrally caters to tennis and swimmers. No problem there as it doesn't interfere with weightlifters and cardio hounds. The facilities are well kept and continues to improve. I e been a member for over 6 years and truly, my only complaint, is the raising of rates every year. Sport & Wellness is not locally owned so getting a response when expressing discontent about the already high monthly goes nowhere. The staff is very friendly! The availability of locations is viable to get a workout in regardless of where you are within the ABQ City limits. Defines fitness has just as many locations and just as much to offer, minus the tennis and racquet ball courts, Planet Fitness is much less expensive but again lacks in classes, a pool, any type of court. High Point is hidden and works well for many folks. Hope to see you around the gym!

We started here because of our son who has autism. He had a friend who was going there already and invited us to a party. It is nice to have a friend he can swim with. The staff all know his name and truly accept him, from those at the front desk to the manager and all the trainers. The pools are great and the hot tub help our son with his sensory needs. Our trainer is the best and works around Roberts needs. It is more expensive than other gyms and ear;ier on we could not have afforeded going here.

Everyone is nice and friendly. The personal trainers are great! I love the pop up classes, belly dancing and yoga. Boxing with Brenden on Saturdays is a must! Boxing is the best cardio I've ever done.

I pre-paid for some personal training. After every one in the group quit, I asked for the remainder of my money returned. I was told I had to first send an email to Wellbridge which I did. They did not accept any phone calls. No response. Finally, I asked the manager to look into it and I still have not received my credit back to me. It's been two years and I am frustrated. They were quick to bill me and even charge interest when I was a member but refuse to return my credit which they have held on to for over two years.
